January 17-24 at Boardwalk villas. Forgot MLK day was in there! Just how crowded will it be?

We went a few times pre Covid MLK week. Sunday and Monday were very crowded (although not spring break crowded), but then Tuesday and Wednesday weren’t bad at all. Thursday started picking back up a little, then Friday was busy again for the following weekend.

The last time we went that week was 2019 so things could have changed. But we did like the week after Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were decent days to be in the parks. I feel like the wait times are always about the same for the headliners, but it wasn’t too bad to walk around and the lesser rides aren’t horrible waits like spring break.

We booked a Bounce-back trip after our stay in February 2024.

Hopefully, we'll be taking our daughter, SIL, 4-yr-old, and 2-yr-old grandkids with us this time.

Right now, we've got 2 rooms booked with Park Hopper tickets. There's still a chance that our daughter and family won't be able to come, but my fingers are crossed. Hubby and I will go regardless - but it won't be nearly as much fun!!

1/31-2/7 @ POP! Finally after 6 years and a few failed attempts. DD grad trip and heavy on the nostalgia for us. I expect to be crying most of the time. Very excited to be going back!

Hello! We’re joining in the fun January 3-8 at CCV! Hoping to miss *some* of the crowds between the holidays and marathon weekend, but we’re seasoned WDW-goers so we know how to still have fun regardless. This will be our second kiddo’s first trip, and she’ll be just shy of six months old. Our toddler has been to WDW three times and once to DLP, so he’s an old pro! Looking forward to reading about everyone’s plans for their January trips!
