Transportation to MK / parking for pre-opening ADR

I will have a rental car (staying offsite) and need to get to MK for an 8:20 ADR at Crystal Palace when the park opens at 9. I've only ever done this when taking the resort transportation. Anything I need to know about driving/parking at MK pre-park opening? Should we plan on arriving extra early? How early does the boat and/or monorail typically start running?

If we should decide to change to staying onsite at CBR, would it be better to take the resort bus or drive ourselves? If bus is a better option, what time to catch the bus for an early ADR?

If I were staying off-site, and would be paying to park anyway, I would probably head over to the CR and valet park there. Then, you can just walk over to the MK...takes about 8 mins.
If you decide to just park at the TTC, I would plan on getting there about 7:45...that will give you plenty of time to either monorail or ferry to the MK, get through security and the turnstiles and to your breakfast.
If you decide to stay at CBR, I would plan on being at the bus stop no later than 7:15. These early buses tend to come a bit less frequently...if you just miss one, it could be 20-25 mins before the next one comes. Yes, you may end up being early, but that's soooo much better than stressing about being late.

The MK toll booths never close to traffic. During the overnight, they will be unattended, but you can still drive thru them. In fact, you need to drive thru to get to the CR as well as MK parking.

Awesome! Thanks! Now all I have to stress over is whether the Resort Monorail is running on time! LOL

Guess if worse comes to worse I could do the valet parking at CR.

As joelkfla said, the lot doesn't close. You go through the toll booth even if you go to the CR. So, if you have to pay to park at the TTC, you may as well go to the CR and valet park. Just drive to the CR, tell the guard shack CM you need to valet park and he can direct you to the valet people. Then, leave the CR, walking to the bus stop area....driveway on your left, CR on your right. Stay on the sidewalk, cross the street, using the pedestrian cross button. Then you're at MK! You'll have walked beneath the overhead monorail, taking about 8-10 mins. Easy peasy.
