transportation to dolphin

Help!! We are staying 3 nights at the Dolphin Hotel since my husband has a lot of points, but then we are switching to the All Star movies for a couple of nights.

Can we use Disney transportation to take us to dolphin and then back to the airport after the all star music? if not, can we at least use it one way... back to the airport?

and will disney help with the transfer between the two properties when we change?

You can take Magical Express from All Star Movies to the airport, but you'll have to get from the airport to the Dolphin on your own. Mears charges $20/pp for a one-way shuttle. For two or more people, I would rent a car from National or Alamo at the airport for drop-off at the Dolphin.

I think the Dolphin will transfer your luggage to ASM, but I've never done it.

If it were me, I would stay at the value resort first and THEN transfer to the deluxe resort. Another thing - if your husband has enough Starwood points for 3 nights at the Dolphin, is there any chance he has enough points for 4 nights? If you book 4 nights using SPG points, the 5th night is free.

nancy, thanks for the great information!! He just needs 1500 more points for one more free night : ) I am thinking he will get, and I may be able to add that 4th (and 5th) night... but I had to get something else reserved just in case. Husband travels alot and stays exclusively at starwood properies.. so fingers are crossed : )

Shelly, I hope your husband will be able to earn the 1500 points needed for 2 more nights!

I love the Swan (my favorite) and Dolphin, and usually stay there when I go to WDW. However, most of our Starwood points are earned with the Starwood American Express card.
