Transportation Question, ME vs. towncar/cab

Hello!!

Quick question hopefully you guys can help. I'm going to Disney on Friday staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani, can't wait!! That said I have to leave after work and meet up my sister and friend at night. I arrive at MCO @ 10:30PM and I'm wondering if I should take a cab or get a towncar pickup or just go with ME. I am hoping to get to the resort asap but I think that usually Animal Kingdom is the last stop on ME. Any opinions? Thanks so much!!

We have sprung for a town car our last couple of trips (Tiffany or Florida Tours, I think) and really like it. The guy is waiting for us when we come off the concourse near baggage claim, helps us, then out to the car and on our way! Love it!

But, how do YOU feel getting into a car by yourself driven by a man? It is something that would be hard for me to do. Some gals wouldn't bat an eye and would feel completely comfortable. If you do, then I recommend a car service.

After all of that, honestly, if I was traveling alone, day or night, for safety reasons, I would choose ME.

We have used Tiffany many times and they are awsome, considering the time you are arriving, I would get a towncar. And I would have no issues getting in alone. I see your from Chicago, how many taxi drivers are females?? If you were earlier, I would say ME. and if your checking bags, I think towncar would be the way to go.

Towncar, another vote for Tiffany Tours. You can do taxi as well, but it seemed like a lot of the taxi drivers were playing games with routes from the airport to maximize the meter. With Tiffany you'll know the rate in advance.

Thanks so much for all your help because of the time I am going to go with a car service and yea from Chicago, I'm always in cabs with male drivers so that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks again I really appreciate your help!!

I also love Tiffany cars. I was coming into Orlando at 11:00 at night and I didn't want to be alone looking for a cab. They were there waiting for me and I had no worries being alone with the driver who was pleasant and friendly. The nice thing about the town car is that they will stop at a store for you as part of the trip and you leave from the airport as soon as you get your luggage. The nice thing about the magical express is that it's free, very well organized and you have that magical disney feel once they start the video. We have never had more than a 1/2 hour wait from the time that we got in line until the time that we left the airport. I find that sometimes the Towncar works better for me and sometimes ME is best. Both are great though.
