Transportation from POP to CR

What would be the best way to get from POP to CR for dinner at Chef Mickey's and then from CR back to POP? I read that we could take the bus to MK, then take the monorail to CR. Can we take the monorail from outside MK without having to go into MK or how long is it to walk to CR from MK?

Yes, bus to MK, walk toward the park entrance but loop around to the right when you get past the buses and follow the sign. Eight-ten minute walk. By the time you walked past the park entrance, up the ramp, wait for, board, and debark the monorail, walking is faster.

There's also the boat from MK to CR which is nice

There's no boat - because there are already two transportation options (walking or monorail). There's a boat from MK to WL and another boat from WL to CR - but that's the least efficient of the three routes. The nicest , but the least efficient.

It's approx 1/2 mile walk from the MK bus stop to the entrance of the CR.
Assuming you're done with dinner while MK is still open you could just walk back to the bus stop to return to POP. If not you could bus from CR to DTD and then transfer to a bus to POP, it will take awhile but it will get you there.
Another option is a taxi.

I could swear there was a boat. I thought I saw a sign at the launch for "Contemporary and WL this way ->." Must have gotten confused.
