Cake Bake Shop, hands down, without question, has better food. Trattoria's food tastes like it was defrosted and reheated. The last time we ate there my chicken tasted like rubber. If you want Italian food, I would go over to the Swan and eat at Il Mulino. Cake Bake Shop is really, really good and the atmosphere is just gorgeous and magical IMHO.

Trattoria is your best bet. Cake Bake Shop’s restaurant is so not worth it. If you want the cakes, I’d suggest going to the bakery AFTER a different restaurant like Trattoria…

Cake Bake Shop. The menu is bigger, the food is delicious & the portions are huge, so could be shared. Trattoria is loud, in 1 big room with lots of wood. CBS is several smaller rooms, quieter with lots of decor to look at. Our servers at Trattoria always seem rushed. CBS is a slower, more relaxed pace. My husband is a meat & potatoes guy. He never asks for Trattoria , but has asked for CBS the last 4 trips.

Have you looked at the menus? It’s always more about the menu for us. Also, CBS is on Open Table, many more options for times & party size reservations there than on the Disney site. However, they still require a credit card hold & have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Came bake shop has better food however it took us a long time to eat there as they were really slow in getting our orders taken and the food out. I was over 2.5 hours, with a 3 year old that may be way too long to expect them to sit at a restaurant.

I like Trattoria because it has so good GF options for me like GF calamari which is hard to find at most restaurants but I can see if you get good Italian food regularly it’s not the most authentic, it is however miles above Tony’s in MK. Rosa Mexicana at the Dolphin was a great surprise we enjoyed our meal there so much if you like Mexican food and are looking for to eat in the area boardwalk hotel area.
