Transportation from Bay Lake to Port Canav. And back!

What is the best and CHEAPEST way to go from BLT to Port Canavera and back to BLTl? Forget renting a car- I am on vacation! 3 passengers - my wife, me and our 10 year old daughter. Going from 8/28-9/1 on The Dream.

You really have 3 choices...
1.Use the DCL transfers at about $65 pp, r/t.

2. Rent a car...may be up to $50 for one day, each way. That means dropping everyone, and the luggage, off at the ship and driving to the car rental office and returning the car. Then, take a shuttle back to the ship....be sure your rental company offers this. Then, off the ship, shuttle back to the rental company, re-rent a car, drive back to the ship and collect the group and luggage. Or, rent a car for the duration, pay to park at port, and drive back, as soon as you disembark.
I usually rent a car, pay to park at port since it's so darn convenienent. Parking is about $15 a day.

3. Hire a car service for about $250 or so.

I priced out limo companies for my family when we're going in December from the Poly to Port Canaveral and then from Port Canaveral to MCO. The best prices came from Limo Orlando. I've not used them in the past, however for roundtrip transfers in a Hummerzine is only $640 whereas if we used Disney transportation with all of those other people it's $650. This way we have our own private limo and my nephews are pretty much obsessed with limos so for us it's definitely the way to go.

Another option would be to go to www.limos.com and put in a quote request. I've used Happy Limo in the past and liked them ok (we had to wait for 25 min. past our pick-up time from MCO to the Grand last year, and I wasn't happy about that at all).
