Hi. What are you thought on transition lenses. I've heard mixed reviews but I would really like to get them.
Thanks
Thanks

I have worn them for the past 11 years and love them. They say that it takes some time to get used to them, but I took to them right away.
I did get a pair that were very wonky. But the doc gave me the wrong prescription.
I love not having to take glasses on and off (I need them for reading). I highly recommend them.
PS I got my last pair for a quarter of the price I paid at Sams ordering through Zenni.
In fact, I ordered them as a second pair but find that they are my favorite.

Unfortunately, she is in various choirs. When the choirs sing outside, she can't have dark lenses. So, she takes them off and squints at the choir director(s).
I don't think that she will buy them again.
Oh yeah, there is something else I don't like about them. When it is cold and sunny outside, it takes FOREVER for the glasses to return to normal when you go inside. I find myself taking them off when it is cold so that I am not walking around a store in the dead of winter with what appears to be sunglasses!

I have been told the same thing & have always gotten the grey.. had I not been told it, I would have gotten the brown thinking they would have been darker.. good point that you have brought up..I like mine, but like previous posters said I do wish they got dark in the car. But they are great for everything else. If you get them, make sure you get the grey lenses...they get much darker than the brown!!
His do change in the car even though we drive a minivan and he is naturally in the back with the tinted windows. They don't get AS dark but they do darken.
