Transferring/ selling/ renting

Can someone please clarify what types (cuurent UY, Banked, Borrowed) are able to be transferred to another account? Basically I have points at the Xxxxx am looking at traveling to Xxxx We will be returning from a cruise in July of 2013 and doing a post trip in Vero Beach. I am debating if its worth trying to get on the transfer board (i need to pay $50 for the annual cost) to try and arrange a transfer to someone for the booking window. It concerns me that I need very specific dates and not sure I want to wait until the 7 month booking window. Right know I have XXX left in my 2012 UY and all available in my June 2013 UY. What I want to avoid is misrepreseting what my points can be used for if transferred. Also would you do a transfer of have each party book dates for you, I was leanning towards a transfer because then the points are yours. Would love some thoughts.

You can only transfer current UY points and you can do one transfer in or out of your membership per UY.

You don't have to wait until the UY starts to do it though. For example, you can transfer 2013 UY points now, even though you are in your 2012 UY.

Transferred points can be banked but not borrowed.

You could transfer OUT your 2013 points and transfer IN 2012 points or vice versa.
