If you transfer the points to someone else they can bank the points, but wdwstar is correct you can not tranfer banked points.
I did a transfer earlier this year with a member and waited until I received the money and transfered the points that day. Both parties have a risk and you need to trust each other. I would suggest you do it all by email and give people your address to send the check. Therefore they know where you live and they can get you if you do not transfer the points..hehehe. Just kidding, but true. Do not try and hide where you from. Give them your phone number also in case they want to speak to you in person. It might make them feel better about sending a stranger money. Type an email with all the information and the plans of the contract. Therefore everyone has a record of it. It worked out very well for me. I hope this helps.
