Hello: If I bank points from 2003 to 2004, can I transfer these points to someone else. What's the best way to ensure I get paid when I transfer points to another member?

bank points can not be transfered aaaand borrowed points can not be transfer either.

receive the money first then transfer the points, points can not be returned back to you . its all base on trust. dont forget the person sending you money has a risk too:sunny:

If you transfer the points to someone else they can bank the points, but wdwstar is correct you can not tranfer banked points.

I did a transfer earlier this year with a member and waited until I received the money and transfered the points that day. Both parties have a risk and you need to trust each other. I would suggest you do it all by email and give people your address to send the check. Therefore they know where you live and they can get you if you do not transfer the points..hehehe. Just kidding, but true. Do not try and hide where you from. Give them your phone number also in case they want to speak to you in person. It might make them feel better about sending a stranger money. Type an email with all the information and the plans of the contract. Therefore everyone has a record of it. It worked out very well for me. I hope this helps.

I did a 50%-50% transaction on the transfer. I sent the owner 50% of the money, she transfered the points into my account, then I sent the rest of the money. I really think it is doubtful that the person receiving the points will not pay because the person transfering the points into your account will have your actual account number. Both do have a risk but I believe that the person sending the money has the biggest because they also need to reveal that account number to someone who could be a total stranger.
