Transferring between different UYs you own

I know that you are only allowed 1 transfer per membership, but I have heard that if you own more than one UY, member services will allow more than 1 if you are transferring between your own memberships. Is that true?

You can't count on it, but the odds are in your favor according to reports by other DVC DIS posters.

MS is reported to be more lenient as long as the contracts are titled exactly the same.

I have two different memberships (one Sept and one Dec). When I transfer the points from one to the other, MS always tells me I've used my once a year transfer.

Just goes to show you never know what DVC will tell you. I have two UY's and was combining points for a ressie and asked if I would be able to do it again later this year. The person I spoke to told me that as long as the two memberships have the exact same ownership, DVC doesn't have a limit on the number of transfers between the two UY's. She may not have known what she was talking about but that is what I was told.

We have also been able to transfer between different UYs with our contracts. Wish we had understood all this before buying the second contract.
