Well I took my 12-year-old daughter to a Trampoline, Jump Park, birthday party this past weekend and she has been begging me to let her have her party there next year. Ughh, I finally gave in and told her, just this one time. The price for 15 jumpers is around $350! I don't normally spend that much on the party, but I guess I will spend it for her 13th. I told her she was going to have to get a job. I have a Disney habit to support!:D:D

Anyone else out there fork over this amount of money ($350, plus) for a party at a Jump park?

$350 doesnt sound all that bad. its like $22 a person.
What does it come with? I recall jumping for $20 an hour... if the extra $2 a person includes your own area + tables, id say its worth it...

if not, just tell her friends, going to trampoline park, not a party styled bday party... haha

I'd say ur getting off cheap lol

If the kids are all Jumping in there together, I hope u checked to be sure the place has Very Good Insurance in place with proof of same.

Some scary incidents/injuries happen .. and these are growing kids with Growing bones...
Wishing ur daughter a wonderful birthday
( and an UNeventful party)

I would check groupon or living social. I see deals for those places frequently.

Ok, thanks. I know I'll have around 20 people jumping, plus pizza, cake and drinks. Bet the entire tab will venture close to $450, but this is a one time thing for her.

Most parties are at home with the pool.

My daughters 13th birthday was at a beachfront hotel with 3 of her friends (I got the couch). So hotel, food, and entertainment costs for 4 teen girls exceeded $350.

We were on a tight budget, but I threw a zoo party for my oldest when he turned 3. It was about $300 with goody bags, and decorations. I ended up having to have my parents chip in a bit for food. That was the last big party I threw. :teeth:

I think my son's was a tad less, but only because I held it on a less popular night and time. Which, only worked out because schools were closed for spring break. But yeah, that is about the going price for the trampoline park parties in my area as well.

I'm in South Florida. Our party was $495 for the birthday kid plus 10 guests. Each additional guest was $35. I also had to pay $2 per pair of socks if the kids didn't bring them from previous visits. It included all the trampolines, obstacle courses that were hanging from the ceiling, zip line and 15 minutes of trampoline dodgeball. Pizza, chips, beverages, party supplies and balloons were also included. All I had to do was bring the cake, candles and the goody bags. The package we chose was the second cheapest one because we wanted more than just the trampolines. The most expensive one was $900!!!!!

Don't forget you have to tip your party host too.

I had it much worse at 13 - I took DD and a friend to Universal for Halloween Horror Nights. I was a super cool mom for that one, for the record.

We did a jump place twice, but the charge was closer to $250. The kids loved those parties, and we always had a full house. I liked the place we went because they maximum number of jumpers was really high - like 25 or 30. Back in those days, DD had to invite the whole class to pass out invites at school, so we were always looking for places where a lot of kids could be invited.

You guys are making me feel a bit better, but the kid is sill getting a job!!:tilt:

Yes! I've done jump place, skating rink, bowling alley, zoo, etc. Up until 10 they got a party like this every year. Once they hit 10-11 I let them pick 1-3 friends (depending on price) and we do something. Then I separately have family over for pizza and cake ON their actual birthday.

I'd much rather pay that than have a bunch of people at my house and have to clean up. Even when I do at home parties I end up spending around $300 between food, games, drinks, cake, etc.

That is very common around here. Things like that, laser tag, etc. But I love being able to do something like and not worry about anything. Show up, enjoy, go home. The stress it alleviates is wonderful.

But we can afford it. If we couldn't I would have no problem telling my son we couldn't afford it.

Starting around 8 we stopped the whole class invite and did just his friends. Thankfully his teachers always email without blind copy at least one a year so you can find addresses.

Last year he wanted to go kart about a hour away. So I said he could only invite 4 kids since that is all that fit in our car.

There are so many ways to have fun without having to spend that much. She could invite two friends to jump $60 and then go out to eat. No party package needed.

DD resfuses to have her parties anywhere but home, but I would be thrilled to get by with a $350 party! I usually spend almost 3x that on parties the are in our home, but we typically have a lot of guests.

A trampoline park sounds like a blast! Hope you all have fun!

My DD turns 11 next month. last year she had her party at a Ninja Warrior gym. This year I ran the numbers and I'm flying me, her and her best friend to Disney and going to MVMCP for LESS than the Ninja party.

My youngest had one at the trampoline park 2 yrs ago. Power went out during cake so all we had to pay was $100 and we split it 3 ways as she and her friend have the same birthday and one other girl is 2 weeks later. But I think it would of been over $300 if not closer to $500.

Another option is to just pay to jump $15/kid or how ever much and then go out for pizza and cake nearby vs using the party room.
