Trails End Buffet

Anyone eat here lately for dinner? Would appreciate some opinions.

My Hubby and I are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in March and have been talking about going to the Trails End to eat. Does anyone know whether we can walk there from the WL or would we be better off taking Disney transportation?

What should we expect for food choices?

You can definitely walk there but I wouldn't do it at night. There are no lights.

The food varies.... there are staples like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, usually a fish dish, carving station, pizza, desert buffer section, they change it often but you can check out allears

We loved it both times we have been.

It is one of the better valued buffets at Disney. We like going there occasionally but it is more difficult to get to so we tend to forget about it at times.

Loved it, loved it!! Something for everyone and the food was hot and delish. Best buffet in WDW for the $$ IMHO. We hope to go for dinner during our trip next month.

It is easy to get there ffrom WL. All you need to do is hop on a boat. We usually camp at FW and eat there at least once every time we are there. They now take AR which made it a little strange last time we were there but the food was just as good. Usually a nice variety.
