So, there's my step-mom. She has macular degeneration, and can still drive, but she only drives on nice, sunny days. Okay, no biggie. So when I go down to spend time with her, I drive. Of course, I stop using directionals and I speed through yellow lights for the first two weeks after I get home, but I digress. So, she tells me that when she has to get someplace, she just gets in the far right lane and pokes along. It horrifies me. But, her dd is a cop and is fully aware of her driving abilities..so it's up to her to deal with it.
But man.....the road is full of blue hairs down there. And sorry...I don't mean to offend, it's just the term that comes to mind!!!
Oh dear God!!! You must have run into the same people I have!!! The trying to decide which exit to take, then to decide it's 'that' one while moving at 65 mph in the far left lane!!! And the people in the right lane are trying to move around those other right lane drivers who are moving too slowly, but the faster drivers don't want to be bogged down in the middle lane either. And look......the Mickey shaped tower!!!
Yep, been there, done that. That's one reason I hate driving in the Orlando area.
