Okay so we are driving in to WDW and plan to arrive on the morning of Friday, January 10. Debating on some different plans (where we plan to stop along the way, seeing family, etc.)
If we get all the way to Orlando Thursday night and stay off site, how is traffic getting onto WDW property first thing in the morning?

We plan to go to WWoS first for marathon packet pickup (expo opens at nine), then checking in at Pop Century. Just curious if because of park opening times, if it's really chaotic to get on property. We've never had the option to get there this early before.

It's not generally bad if you're coming in early. Avoid the route past Downtown Disney and come in on World or Osceola. I don't know how bad it'll be at the WWoS, but the main routes into WDW shouldn't be awful.

You should be fine.

Stay in the left lanes (to avoid backups at exits & onramps) of I4W from the Beeline (SR528) to WDW.

Take Exit 65 (AK/WWoS) Right lane exit.

Left on Victory to WWoS
or
Right on Victory To POP.
