I can't find a menu for Trader Sam's. Do they serve food? What about seeing Wishes from there, and if not, can you take a drink to the beach?

Trader Sam's serves food. There is an outdoor 'Terrace' (probably won't see fireworks from here, there is a lot of stuff surrounding the terrace, but you can see them from the marina right next to it OR walk down the dock, OR walk down to the beach), or indoor 'Grog Grotto' (won't be able to see fireworks here - obviously).

I tried the Poke and liked it a lot, portion is small. We tried the Headhunter Roll and it was meh, rice was hard and dry (if it was fresher I might have liked it).

We had the tacos. While good, Kona's lunch tacos are way better. Inside is totally inside and trust me, if you are in there, you will not want to see the fireworks from all the antics that go on. Also, children are not allowed in TS after 9 pm. They actually announce it and ask you to have them leave. Not sure if that's an issue for you.

They have food! And it's super delicious! We LOVE the sushi, dumplings and tacos! Yum!
You can see the fireworks from the outdoor terrace, we've watched them there multiple times, they pump the music in and everything.
I dont think you'd be able to take your drink down to the beach/off the terrace unless it was transferrred into a to go cup first

Here's another thought since drinks and fireworks seem to be something you are interested in:

We've gone to the bar at both Narcoose's and Cali Grill before, gotten a drink, and watched Wishes from their viewing areas. Both were spectacular! We had no ADR at either place, just had apps and drinks.

I've just got to add that even if you're not a big fan of curry, you should try the Portuguese Sausages. The curry ketchup is actually more about curry flavor than just tons of heat, and it's awesome. Or maybe the drinks dulled my senses to it. Either way, we loved them.

Anybody under 21 must leave the indoor Trader Sam's at 8 PM (not 9 PM). Unless they have changed it since December.
