Trader Sams disappearing within seconds

During my 60 day window earlier in the week, reservations for those staying at on property hotels were opening and disappearing around 3:30 a.m.

At this point, your best chance at a reservation would be to set a paid reservation alert on m dining. To increase your chances even further make sure you stay logged in to your account so you don't have to do that step when booking.

M dining doesn’t seem to be working. Yesterday, I set a paid alert for 11:30 @ Goofy’s on thanksgiving. I haven’t gotten any emails or texts. I checked this morning, and it was there. Been there for hours now. I think I would be leery of using it at DLR. I think I had this problem last year too and quit using it.

They shouldn't even offer reservations for TS.

I was on line three mornings this week to book dining and TS was not available to book. It wasn’t on my list to book but saw that it was not available. In the past I have never had an issue booking a reservation for TS. I saw a vlog this week of someone going for breakfast and the sign showed it as walk up only. I assume that they have changed their system and removed reservations.

It would be nice if they would remove it from the reservations list. It's annoying for those of us who get up super early to try and book it and *suspect* it's not taking them but also don't want to miss out if it is.

Reservations for Trader Sam's are practically a myth. You'd need to be Sir Albert Falls himself to find them in their mysterious lair far beyond the backside of water!

??? The only reservations that on-site hotel guests have an advantage for are the parks themselves. (There's a "bucket" of park reservations for DLH/GCH/PP guests separate from the buckets for Magic Key holders and people with regular Disneyland tickets.) AFAIK, even concierges can't help hotel guests with Trader Sam's reservations.

Trader Sam's reservations opening early for on site hotel guests is a well known phenomenon. It's so well known that they get snatched up by those in the know within seconds or minutes even though it's 3:30 PST. If you read back on posts re Trader Sam's in this forum, you'll see many previous mentions.

YMMV, guessing the issue had to do with the special release of the Thanksgiving meal reservations.

I'm not an expert, but it's been working fine for me the last week.
