Has anyone else tried these. OMG they are so good! 70% cacao but they are really, really delish. I do not know if it is the differnt shape or what but I love them.

Also, my kids HATE them so I get to eat the whole box myself.

Where in the store are they? What are they. I am hooked on the Chocolate covered Joe's O in the freezer isle with the cookies

They are with the candy over the freezer chest in my stores in Mass. They are long sticks (the only way I can describe them) of chocolate. I think they are probably the same amount as a regular candy bar but they are "batons" instead. They are so good. They are in a marron and cream colored box.

The chocolate Joe Joes should be illegal

Your comment about the kids hating them made me laugh. I have a few of those on my list of faves too. I haven't tried the dark chocolate batons, but they would fit the bill in my house too, for the same reason. The kids wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. I love TJs triple ginger cookies, which my kids also hate.

I also love their chocolate covered coffee beans, but unfortunately so do my kids. I have to hide them or the kids wind up :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Well we usually buy the cat cookies b/c they are 14 for 2pts. My son takes the tub dumps half of it in a bowl and then adds milk!! So those are out. We then progressed to the vanilla Cat Cookies thinking that he would not like those! Wrong! The other day my husband said, lets get the ginger ones I know he does not like those. Next day DH gets up and says, "OH NO!" I said what he tells me that in the sink(God forbid he put it in the dishwasher) is a bowl with crumbs from the ginger cookies. My DH said, "when I saw the crumbs in the bowl I got a sick feeling in my stomach...there are no other types to try he now eats them all!" Well those puppies (cats) lasted one day! You KNOW how big the tub is too. Really he eats them like a bowl of cereal! He does not like dark chocolate so even though it is not my favorite I have forced myself to develop a taste for it JUST so I can have some when I need it. Really he is like a shark there is no stopping him.

Bell you need to learn the art of hiding food.

I also love the Chocolate Lava cakes & hide them in the freezer to eat alone. Dh came home one day & I was eating while Dising & I put it in the desk drawer until the coast was clear.

Honey, you have no idea to what I have resorted when it comes to hiding food! :rotfl2: I used to save boxes from healthy food and when they were empty I would hide my treats in there but once one of the boxes fell out of the cabinet in front of him and then that ruse was over. I posted this once before but now with my 100 cal packs I hide them in the bottom of my white clothes hamper in my room. I have to double bag them in a trash bag and then put the whites over them. At this point in time I do not know if he knows they are in there but I would not put it past him to get some gloves and go in and take them. HE thinks it is funny and a game! He is an 18yr old PIG! LOL If you have better ideas for hiding PLEASE share. Other than putting food in the toilet tank ....I am out of ideas.

I remember you posting about that. That is so funny. I know it isn't so funny to you... I have to hide things from my 18 year old daughter, but it is a little easier. She won't move things around much when she is looking for a snack, so usually just shoving the cookies behind the undesireable food does it. I also have a large pantry and the shelves go up to the ceiling, so I can put things up high where she can't see them. I'm short, but she is shorter. I have no suggestions for you except buying yourself an inexpensive fire safe or locking file cabinet to keep YOUR snacks in so you get to eat some of them!

OH, and I do one more evil thing. My daughter has severe food allergies, so if I want to get to eat something I make sure it has something she can't eat in it. Heh heh heh. Oh sooooo sorry honey, those are peanut butter cookies. Oh dear, eclairs contain a LOT of eggs. Yes, I am evil.

Wah! I need a Trader Joe's by me! I used to love those chocolate cat cookies (cat shaped, not FOR cats!).

yeah well my son supposedly has lactose intolerance.....he does not care he will eat the icecream without the lactaide and then just sit in the bathroom for an extra half hour afterwards. I do applaud you for buying the foods she cannot eat. Then again girls are always looking out for their figures so most likely she will stop herself before she devours the whole thing unlike pigs(oops I mean boys).

Uuummmmmm. No. Not this one. She will snarf down all but one cookie out of the package (doesn't eat them all, because she knows I hate it when she eats them ALL) :faint: She may not do it in one sitting, but she will work her way through it within a day. Maybe two. Some day her figure may catch up to her, but so far it hasn't and she just mows through stuff like you wouldn't believe.

OMG my kids would never look that hard. They would just whine we have no food. My room is off limits & they would not snoop. Maybe put them in your night stand Under something that would freak him out:faint: :rotfl:
