The nurse told me to set myself one goal & a reward for when i meet it
my goal is to manage to jog for 7 mins straight (remember the days i could do 20-25 mins??)
My reward will be half a tub of dip ;) (thats real motivation!!)

I met my goal in less than a week!!! that dip is a good motivator ;)

Didnt have any dip in though but had some choc in the fridge so i had that as my reward & am giving myself a new goal for the dip.....

To jog for 10 mins :eek: - that will be hard!!!

I went for a jog around a local lake monday evening with my nieghbour - i managed to jog twice as far as the last time, but it soooo hard jogging outdooors!!!! its about 1 mile around - i did about a 1/4 mile. When i meet my my 10 min TM jog goal (notice i said when not if ;)) my next goal will be to jog at least half way round the lake or even all the way round we will see!!
* Forgot to add to monday my 2 x 25 mins walk to & from work too

Tuesdays food
b/fast - cereal , decaf earl grey
snack - banana, low cal hot choc drink
lunch - chk/bacon pasta salad, mixed berries with yogurt/muslie, earl grey
snack - 2 crispbreads with cheese/onion filler, 250 ml o/juice (before gym)
dinner - lemon fish, boiled potatos, mini corn cob, 10 small squares of dairy milk choc

Exercise - 500 cals @ gym

Wednesday
b/fast - cereal, decaf earl grey
snack - banana, low cal hot choc drink
lunch - chk salad, strawberries
dinner - spagetti bolognase (made with quorn mince, wholeweat spagetti & topped with low fat cheese) 1 small slice of baked mediteranian breab (yum)
low fat yogurt

Exercise - non

dinner - 2 slices of soya/linseed bread with WW cheese, protein bar

Went out to see an AC/DC tribute band I MUST have burnt some cals dancing for hours & the place was packed & it was boiling - i had to peel my jeans off when i got home!! when i took my shoes off my ankles swelled up so slept with my feet up & a cold cloth over them - gone down by morning BUT pretty worred about WDW & heat now - although i wont be wearing heels then!!...or dancing, jumping up & down or head banging!!!
drank 5 gin & slimline tonics & 1 wine :eek:

Sunday
b/fast - decaf earl grey, cereal
lunch - steamed chk/tomato & rissoto, yogurt
dinner - 2 small cheese & ham rolls, HALF A TUB OF CHEESE & CHIVE DIP :) with WW dorittos

Exercise - 580 cals @ gym

Went to friends to watch Spain v Italy football match - we wanted Spain to win (as our friends have a villa their) & they won :yay:

Had 1 glass of sangria & 1 white wine

Kim - thanks for stopping by - DD is 13 (14 in August) my niece was lucky enough to not have TOM till 15, & there are 11 yr olds in my school who have TOM, so you never know!!

Tracy, Cam & Julie - thanks for the positive vibes ;) its been a while coming but i feel back in control now :)

WI tomorrow- i will be gutted if the scale doesnt go down :( as it stayed the same last week & i have been really good with food & exercise...we'll see!

DD is going away with school choir for 5 days on sunday - i'm dreading it - i will miss her soooo much :( (putting on a brave face for her though!) she wont be home on my birthday :(
next week will sure drag :(

Weather is raining...again... BUT not as bad as the floods we had last June.....no this year we are getting lots of wind instead!!!! A tree came down in next doors garden!!! summer eh???? whats that???? i need sun!!!!

Thanks Tracy :hug: she left this morning, i know she will have a wonderfull time but i cant wait till she gets home on Friday!
It has also ended up costing me a fortune!!! ontop of the £150 ($300) to go & the £70 ($140) spending money
I ended up paying out nearly another £150 ($300) on new clothes & a haircut for her too!!!

my niece was 18 last week & i can remember the day she was born like it was yesterday & all of a sudden i thought ''have i been an adult that long!!??''
i got pretty depressed!!

Friday
WI - 2lb loss :dance3: i was so relieved!!! i have now lost the 7lb that i gained in the 2 weeks i didnt go to the gym!!! it took 2 weeks to gain & 6 weeks to get off!!!
Now i have to get off the 14 lb's i gained when i moved house & over christmas (& again didnt go to the gym over that time - notice a pattern here??) THEN i will be back to the weight i was last summer & THEN i need to lose about another 20 lb's to be below the 'over weight' line!!
BUT at least the scale is going the right way!!

b/fast - cereal, decaf earl grey
snack - banana, low cal hot choc drink, homemade oat cake that someone bought in.
lunch - wholemeal pitta filled with tuna & LF mayo, mixed berries with yogurt & muslie
dinner - went out - chilli chk with noodles, 2 glasses of dry white wine

Exercise - 25 min walk to work

Saturday
b/fast - usual!!
lunch - 2 slices of soya/linseed bread with tuna & LF mayo, yogurt
dinner - fish & chips

Exercise - 4 hours shopping!!!

Sunday
b/fast - usual
lunch - small baked potato with scampi & WW cheese & 2 tbl spns of FL mayo, strawberries & blueberries with yogurt
Dinner - not sure yet!!

Exercise - 650 cals @ gym

Not had time to try & do mt new goal of the 1/2 way round run of the lake yet!!

5 weeks today i'll be checking in at airport hotel, 5 weeks tomorrow we're off :yay: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Hey Tracey! You are doing so well, I am so proud of your seven pound loss. I think seven pounds in six weeks is awesome. I cannot believe I missed dd's TOM arrival. You poor thing! I remember when I told my mom she was okay but I heard her crying later on, it was more traumatic for her I think, can you relate? I hope dd is having fun on her trip, man that was A LOT of money. You are a good mom.

I am so proud, you keep exceeding your goals and that must feel good. One more month to WDW for you!:banana:

I did find in WDW with the heat and walking, that drinking really did swell up my feet. But they always went down and yours will too!

Amy - I didnt cry over TOM but it felt very wierd, i decided whilst DD was away that i need to start ''letting go'' & treat DD more like an adult...gulp...

DD is safely home, but didnt want to come home!!! she loved it & now wants to live in Kent!!!! nice to be missed eh??!!
Tuesday
My birthday was ok - i get pretty down on my birthday!!! The sun came out for me :banana: but the sun did only last one day :(
Went out for dinner with DH & my mum & dad. had chk salad :)
DH bought me some perfume & this weird thing that i stick up my nose that shines lights inside my nose (i look like Rudolf!!) its supposed to help my hayfever - i have to say it does seem to be working!!!! only a man could come up with that though!!
Decided to give myself a day off from the gym!!

Wednesday
school had a fun run - kids had to run around school field 30 times to raise money for charity...i decided i would do this............IT NEARLY KILLED ME!!!
hats off to all you marathon runners out their!!!
I was going to go to the gym but after the fun run i thought nope!!!
(i'd also walked it to & from work!)

Thursday
felt really ill - ended up coming home from work & falling into bed - felt sick, all my joints ached, weird shooting pains, & a migrane
so no gym again....started to think i shouldnt have given myself the day off from gym on Tuesday!!! Started to panic that my weight would go up again as i've just managed to lose the 7 lb's gained from not going to the gym for 2 weeks!!!

Friday
wasnt going to go into work but felt guilty - so i went!!!
DD came home :banana:
Took her out for dinner & she cried most of the time *** she missed Kent!!!
(also VERY over tired as she didnt get back till 2am that morning!)
WI - ANOTHER 2lb LOSS :banana: :dance3: :yay: i was pretty shocked by this!!!
didnt do gym :(

Saturday
finally made the gym :woohoo: but it was hard as i still wasnt feeling 100% but managed to burn 650 cals!!
b/fast - cereal
lunch - 4 crispbreads, yogurt
dinner - WW pizza, homemade potato wedges

Sunday
took DD clothes shopping...again!! trying to get her ready for WDW in FOUR WEEKS:dance3: :yay:

lunch - went to parents - chk, boiled potatoes, rst potatos, smll yorkshire pudding, gravy, smll piece of lemon torte
dinner - proberbly crispbreads!

I think i understand why nurse wanted to me to add more healthy carbs now - it stops me snacking between meals!!! I go for my 'official' WI & measurements next week with the nurse!
Food was pretty good all week, i have to try & get here more often!!
 
I want a light for my nose????? What is it??? If it will help with allergies, heck, I'd have it implanted!!!!

Anyway.....belated happy Birthday!

Glad DD is home, & can I come live in Kent, too????

Didnt realise when i posted yesterday that ny WI appointment with the nurse was today.......... she weighed me & i've lost 5lb in 3 weeks :) (i'd got 4lb)
not lost any inches on my waist though!!!
Turns out her DD is buying a house 3 doors from mine too - small world eh?!!

still raining......:headache:
 
Hi Tracey, your trip is so close!! You must be so excited. That is GREAT news on your weigh in! I am super proud of you. Very interesting that the carbs are helping you not snack. I think carbs get a bad rap sometimes!!

That is great that dd is home and had a great time. Now that she has TOM in her own life, you may want to ship her back to Kent at certain times of the month! Letting go a bit is hard to do, good for you! I am better at doing that with my son than my daughter. I know full well what she can get into (that would be the same things I did ;) ).
