kmc8826---$134-$7659-50-BLT-Jun-0/24, 50/25, 50/26, 50/27-seller pays MF '25- sent 12/26

Was looking for a small contract for my June UY. I wanted Boardwalk but when this popped up I impulsively decided to go for it. I own BLT but in October; so at least I am familiar with it and do love it. Ironically 134 a point is what I paid for a 160 point BLT October resale in 2018 (when I first bought into DVC).
Small contract in a separate UY at the same resort?

Unless there is an overwhelming reason to do this I would rescind and wait until you are in the same UY.

I already have two UY's. June and October. I have VGF direct in both. BLT has just been October. I know I can't combine the BLT points but with 275 in October I have enough. I am looking at these June BLT points as a way to do short summer trips or fall weekends and I don't mind split stays. For summer SAP BLT is a better option for us than for SSR; I really think you should buy where you want to stay.

That said if by some chance Disney did finally take BLT in ROFR that would work too.
IMO, You are making things unnecessarily complex when they don’t have to be.

I mention this because you said it was “impulsively decided”.

The thing is, at some point in the future, you might actually want to combine those BLT points for any number of uses that you can’t anticipate now. Don’t lock yourself into a single strategy. AstroBlasters is 100% right. There are a zillion resale contracts out there. You’ll have way more flexibility if all your BLT points are in the same use year.

haPevraftr— $87-$9553.22-100-AKV-Feb.-0/25, 0/26, 20/27, 100/28- sent 12/28
*not closing until September 2026

$87 pp was the list price. I know this is a long shot, but if it goes through b/c of the late closing and lack of available points then I will be pleasantly surprised😉
I saw this one! Best of luck to you, this would be a great purchase!

Awesome price. Beats my 400 point contract even. I hope your theory on late closing holds true as mine closes in late also. In August

The other posters are right, you definitely should keep it in the same use year as your other BLT contract. I have 3 different UY's, which AstroBlasters would also strongly discourage, but mine are at 3 different resorts. If I ever added on to one of those resorts I would never even consider buying a contract in a different UY, it just doesn't make sense. I agree with rescinding and waiting for one in your current UY. Or better yet, sit tight and wait for the right BWV contract to come along, you won't regret owning at Crescent Lake!

Good luck! Looks like you are in same boat and not getting the super early response from Disney.
My expectation is still set at the 30 days regardless of the super fast responses I was surprised to see last month (and even dip in November). This is our first case of add-on-itis hitting so we’ll see how it goes.

Good luck to you too!

Our first after market buy as well. We have owned 160 pts of AKV for years but that was direct. Wife is anxiously awaiting news we cleared ROFR

🚨 ROFR is officially back — and December 2025 closed out the year with a bang! Disney Vacation Club saw its highest number of buybacks since October 2022, with a monthly buyback rate of 8.3%.

💥 Grand Floridian led the year with 58 total buybacks
📈 Grand Californian saw 30% of its contracts scooped up by Disney
🛑 Polynesian, Disneyland Hotel, and Fort Wilderness remained untouched

Is this a trend or just year-end noise? Here’s our full breakdown and what to watch in 2026:
