Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Hi peeps :)

Poor Gary went to work & at 7pm sunday night & didnt get home till 6.30am!!
At least he got Monday off (with pay:)) & hes not on call now for another 3 weeks :)

I WENT TO THE GYM TONIGHT :)
I decided to do 20 min on the tm & 20 on the x trainer & really go for it, felt good afterwards (apart from this splitting headache i've had all day!! - thats another story!)

Food yesterday
b/fast - croissant with butter, earl grey
snack - mini muffin (& i mean mini - there tiny!) & low sugar hot choc drink
lunch - chinese chk salad, yogurt, strawberries & a bannana
dinner - small baked potato with cheese, chk & bacon on top
homemade cinnimon biscuit at scrapbook class

today - b/fast - croissant with butter, earl grey
snack - mini muffin, bannana & low sugar hot choc drink
lunch - 2 slices organic wholemeal bread with cheese & onion sandwich filler, yogurt, mini muffin & a bag of walnut halves
dinner - lasagnes & fries, small cake

I've felt pretty slim last couple of days (TOM is going) Gary even said i looked slim yesterday!! Suppose the scale will tell me otherwise on Friday!

Grandad is ok, he has narrow arterys & needs to go back to hospital in about 12 weeks to have a balloon inflated in his artery to widen them.

My friend rang tonight - she wants to join the newer gym but is worried she wont get enough use out of it as shes really busy, so we decided to go
& have a look round Thursday evening & ask if she pays monthly would she be able to cancel at any time, if she finds she not getting their enough, hopefully that will be ok!

Weather here is VERY cold now, i think we've had everything now except warm sunshine!!! we've been lucky not to get hardly any snow yet though!

Off to try & shake this headache!

Sorry it's so cold. We finally topped 40 today and almost all the snow is gone.

You went to the gym, good for you :cool1: ! I think its great you might switch, sometimes a fresh start in a new environment can do wonders for your working out. That is great that Gary said you looked slim. You must definitely be losing since men are not always the most observant souls so when they notice you know its true! Keep up the good work, its working!
 

Hi wish friends

Not much to report today, work called Gary in at 5am this morning to grit as the others who were on call had been out all night so they couldnt work today! So as you can proberbly gather it is still freezing here!

Food for today
b/fast - croissant, earl grey
snack - mini muffin & low sugar hot choc drink
lunch - chinese chk salad, yogurt, strawberries, small bunch of grapes
dinner - gonna have chicken topped with cheese, mushroom & bacon.

Yeah your weather isn't sounding too good. Freezing rain is not pleasant. Don't know whats worse, that or the big five foot tall drifts in my yard and the fact I haven't seen grass since I left WDW over a month ago! I guess I'll take the snow since at least its sunny here all week. Where is global warming when you need it? Good job with the food, that chicken sounds yummy.

We went for a look round tonight & she loves it (i new she would ;))
We are going for an induction next wednesday, i might try & take some pics so i can show you guys, its lovely :) I cant wait :) & its put me in such a good mood :) & i'm feeling so motivated right now :woohoo:

Did you know this week is officially the most depressing week of the year???
It said that on the news today!

As for the weather :sad2:
We have had record rainfall, followed by record winds, followed by freezing temps!!! Suppose it can only get better right :confused3
Does that mean in the summer we'll have record high temps?? :banana:

snack - small choc bar & low sugar hot choc drink (its that darn cold!)
lunch - chinese chk salad, yogurt, bannana
dinner - chk curry & 1/2 nam bread (shared with DH)

I made a cheese cake last night :banana:
Now this is a big thing for me as i dont cook well!! I bought a food processor about 3 weeks ago & hadnt used it - until now!
I got the recipe from a low carb web site, gonna try a piece later!
Not sure what to expect as i was supposed to put granulated sweetner in & when i looked in the cupboard i had run out, so i improvised & added sugar free maple syrup instead (& 2 sweetner tablets!!) So if you dont here from me again i've poisened myself :laughing:
 
Well this week isn't depressing for all the lucky folks at WDW right now having fun in the sun with no crowds! But yeah, for the rest of us it pretty much stinks! Congrats on your new gym. That sounds like just the perfect amount of motivation. So glad it all worked out! Your food looks great, let us know how the cheesecake turned out, I make a very good chocolate low fat cheesecake I need to make again. Keep up your good work and don't let this depressing time of year get to you!

You are all really torturing me with the cheesecake talk!!! But since I have to live vicariously through you, how was it???

That is wonderful that you have a workout buddy, you guys will get whipped into shape in no time!

Hope they cheesecake turned out OK and suffering from tummy troubles because of it.

Hi everyone :grouphug:

WI showed a 2lb gain yesterday, but today it showed i maintained & the 2lb had dissapeared! - still i have to go with fridays wi :(
I've noticed i fluctuate 1-3 lb's over the week so have decided i'm not going to stress or beat myself over a few lb's as long as the scale doesnt creep up & stay up!!! I'm also hoping when i start the new gym i will lose a bit more too!
I went to the gym again yesterday :banana: (the 'old' one) I gave them my notice to cancel my membership, but i'm still entitled to go until the end of feb. Did 20 mins TM & 20 mins x/tr intense.

The cheesecake was pretty good although DD & DH were not keen!!
I did get up with an upset stomach this morning though! But thats proberbly down to all the rubbish i downed last night!!!

Food for yesterday:
b/fast - croissant with butter, earl grey
snack - hot choc drink
lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt, small cake, strawberries
dinner - 'gulp' fish & chips (fries), whole tub of dip with pringles, 2 large glasses of Californian zinfendel :sad2:

food today -
b/fast - tried some pecan & maple breakfast clusters, (small bowl) they were ok
lunch - 4 crispbreads with cheese & onion filler on, yogurt, small cake
snack - hot choc drink - after getting a very cold walk in :thumbsup2
dinner - not sure!

Were going out tonight to see a madonna & erasure tribute band, so dont want to eat anything too heavy!
Managed to get a short walk in today :banana: but it was VERY cold!!
I have the beginnings of a sore throat arriving!! Thats karma for secretly being pleased when DH felt ill & it wasnt me!!! DH ok now by the way!
Just hope it doesnt get worse!!!
Bought some new gym gear today for the new gym ;)

Off to try & make myself beautiful for tonight :rotfl2:

Kudos to you for getting in those workouts! How nice that you have a friend to work out with and the new gym sounds like it will be a good fit. Glad the cheesecake turned out okay, but it doesn’t sound as if it was so outrageously delicious that you’ll be obsessing about it (as I would!). Don’t worry about the small increase on the scale. My WW leader says your weight can fluctuate 4 pounds within 24 hours just due to water!

That is nice that you got some new workout gear to start fresh at the new gym! It's so exciting to start in a new place, do they have any interesting classes you can take?

Bummer that the rest of your family is not thrilled about the cheesecake because that means you will be the only one eating it! :scared: Hopefully you have more self control than I do... :rolleyes1

Well i have been terrible with food this weekend!!!
I've already confessed to fridays dinner
dinner yesterday was half a tin of mac cheese, but then we went out & i had a huge plate of fries at midnight on top of all the cider i drank!!!
I had terrible stomach acid when i was drinking so i had to have something to eat :sad2:
THEN today we ended up at a hotel & had a 3 course sunday dinner - which was absoultly gorgeous, but i was soooo stuffed, i couldnt make my mind up between the cheesecake & choc cake for dessert so the waitress gave me both!!! The food & place were lovely though & we will definatley visit their again :goodvibes

lovinaz - erasure were brill, they we're the support band but i actually thought they were better than madonna, i'd forgotten how many songs of theres i knew!!!
The new gym does loads of classes, i need to talk to my friend to discuss which ones she can do, heres the list:
