Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Can I come do some of those classes too? I love the Hips, Bums-n-Tums title! Those sound similar to the classes at my gym, I would highly recommend checking them out. I love the classes because they are always different and you work different body parts with the different instructors. Can't wait to hear which ones you get to attend!

Don't worry too much about the indulgent weekend. I would have stuffed myself with cheesecake too! Just get back on track today and don't feel guilty about the past - it's gone and you can't change it!!

b/fast - croissant, earl grey
snack - hot choc drink, low fat orange & choc cereal bar
lunch - chinese chk salad, strawberries, yogurt
dinner - small baked potato with cheese & chk & bacon filler on top

New gym tomorrow i cant wait :cool1:
 
Good job getting to the gym and getting back on track. Thats what this is all about since we are all going to have days/weekends when we splurge. If you feel bad about your eating and drinking, visit my journal, Friday's food and drink for me was pretty bad. You'll feel good about yours I promise! :lmao:

Hope your sore throat goes away before it turns into an all out cold. I am ready for spring and fewer cold germs going around, how about you?
 

Good evening wish buddies

I gave into temptation last night after posting my food for the day, so i now have to add: 2 apple, cranberry & cinamon cookies, & boy were they yummy, so yummy that i went & bought another pack tonight for backup for when the 1st pack runs out!!!!!:confused3
Where is my willpower:confused3

Food for today:
b/fast - croissant & earl grey
snack - hot choc drink & low fat cereal bar
lunch - soya & linseed bread (yummy) sandwich with cheese & onion filler on, yogurt, strawberries
dinner - spagetti bolognase

If you havnt already noticed, i'm not really low carb anymore, although i am watching my carbs but just trying to be reasonably healthy whilst allowing treats! Will it work? proberbly not! but i'm gonna give it a go especially as i should be going to the gym more now!!

Sorry i lost track of days yesterday, its tomorrow i go for my induction at the new gym!!

Ok I've been a wisher/diser for quite a long time now, does the tag fairy not like me??? Am i doing something wrong?? Is it cos i'm British???

Hi Tracey, it looks like you are back on track foodwise and your "treat" cookies sound yummy! Just have them in moderation. It is ok to not be no/low carb. I think overall it is important to eat balanced foods and always remember portion control. That is a maintainable lifestyle. Bob Greene (Oprah's trainier) recommends 50% calories from Carbs. I was surprised.

I hope you are feeling better. Great job getting a walk in too. What fun to have new gym duds. Have fun at your induction tonight! :banana:
 
You made my day, Tracey! Going and buying more cookies for when those run out is exactly what I would have done. Glad to know I'm not alone! I hide my fav treats from the family, too, at times!:eek:

Hey Tracey, those cookies dont' sound too bad. I am betting they have some fiber in them which is always a good thing. Moderation is the key, its okay and in fact a very good thing to not deprive yourself. Enjoy the cookies! May the tag fairy come visit you very soon! And I think everyone needs some carbs and you are definitely on the low end of your consumption. So enjoy those too, you are doing very well and eating right.

Boy i ache!!
I went for the induction last night - it was great, we had such a laugh, goodness knows what the girl who took round thought :lmao:
I thought i was pretty fit....but you go somewhere else & they work different muscles..ouch, still i enjoyed it & i dont feel too bad today ;)
After the induction we went in the steam room, sauna, swam a few lengths & sat in the jacuzi :)
I'm going back tomorrow (friend cant make it) & spending saturday afternoon their with my friend :)
We didnt have time to discuss classes much but we put our names down for liquid bliss on monday (water aerobics) but could only get on the wait list so will have to see.
I called in the hair salon & spa that is there & found out the spa uses decleor products!!
I LOVE decleor products, i can see this costing me a lot of money!!!

Work was crazy today one of the teachers has gone to new york for a wedding so i had to take the whole class on my own today!!! Boy i had a taste of what its like to be a teacher!! - & i dont want to be one! Your mind has to be sooo focused & i only did it for a day! Had to stay for a governors meeting so i didnt get in till 6.30pm.

food has been pretty good - mainly because i havnt had time to eat much!!
yesterday
b/fast - croisant, earl grey
snack - hot choc, low fat cereal bar
lunch - cheese crusted bread roll with cheese & ham, small choc bar, yogurt
snack - small bunch of grapes, piece of cheese & a small banana (before gym)
dinner - (after gym) 4 crispbreads with cheese & onion sandwich filler on top, earl grey

Today
B/fast - 1 slice of soya & linseed bread toasted with half a teaspoon of strawberry jam, earl grey
lunch - (no snack - no time!) water, chinese chk salad, yogurt, low fat cereal bar
dinner - pepperoni omlette, water

might have one cookie with a cuppa when i get off here :)
I am pretty good with them only have 1 or 2 at the most :)

That's great that you love the new gym, that means you'll want to spend lots of time there!

And I envy you being able to enjoy 1-2 cookies without going overboard. That is still something I struggle with all the time!

You are doing great and I hope all your hard work shows up on the scale soon! :wizard:
 
The new gym sounds great. I can see this really giving you some serious motivation to exercise since you will love the place you are doing it. I love water aerobics, hope you get into the class. And good job only having one or two cookies, thats good to hear! I hope you have a great weekend and good luck with your workouts!
 
Hi, Tracey! Wow, the new gym sounds like it has a lot of spa-qualities! I am so glad you are enjoying it! I hope you can get into the water aerobics class that you want. I am sure you will be needing lots of relaxation time in the sauna if you have all that responsibilility in your class! ;) Maybe you can write off the gym expense as an unreimbursed professional expense! :goodvibes:
