Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Tracey,

Good job doing so well at the bbq, its okay to eat the good stuff as long as you watch those portions like you did. And riding four miles afterwards burned it all away!

One of these days I need to do a spinning class, I figure if it makes you almost puke, its a good workout!:rotfl:

Happy Birthday to your grandpa!:)

Had a lovely time in suffolk the wedding was lovely & so was the weather & the expensive B&B :)

Tracey, I loved the pictures, you look absolutely beautiful and so trim! I loved both your dresses and that B&B looked very nice. So glad you went and had fun. Don't stress about the 1 pound. But I know its discouraging. So hard to take off, but oh so easy to put back on! We can all relate. But it will come off quickly since you are right back on track!

Wow Tracey!!!! You look beautiful, my friend! princess: I love that picture of you and Gary. You both look so relaxed and happy. :goodvibes

Okay, no worries on that pesky little 1 pound gain. You have been doing an amazing job with your food and exercise, Tracey. :cheer2:That 1 pound could just be water weight. I guarantee with your workouts, that pound will be gone in no time. ::yes::

Happy Birthday to your DD!!!:bday: Did you say 8 teenage girls camping at your house overnight? Sending lots of :wizard::wizard::wizard: your way. ;)

Have a wonderful day!

well i've survived a night with 6 teenagers camping in my garden!!
DD had a lovely birthday & i cant believe she is 15 :scared1: i layed in bed the night before looking at the clock & thinking back 15 yrs that i was in labour & i started having all these flashbacks of DD over the years growing up - very emotional!!!
I have pics of yesterday when i get chance to upload them.

WI - stayed the same as last week - so the 1lb gain is still their :( but considering i didnt have the best food week i'm relieved it didnt go up, even though i have exercised everyday as usual!

Its a holiday weekend here & i'm going out saturday & sunday drinking, so i need to be extra careful!!!

I start back to work next wednesday so i'm hoping being back in a routine will hope with the wi's & food - have eaten out a lot last few weeks & i'm shocked at how much difference eating out has made to my weight!!! even when trying to make healthy choices (although the calzone & cinnamon waffle with ice cream yesterday wasnt the best choice - but hey it was my DD's birthday ;))

Glad to hear that you survived the sleepover!:thumbsup2

It's amazing how quickly our children grown up isn't it? It seems like they were just toddlers yesterday and now my girls are soon to be tweens! Where does the time go? :confused3

It sounds like you have a fun weekend ahead! Enjoy your last few days off before school starts. :dance3:

well the weather here is rubbish! :(

You're doing a wonderful job on food and exercise, Tracey!:thumbsup2

How did your night out with your friends go? Hope you had fun! :)

Have a wonderful week ahead!

Hey Tracey, wow, 1.5 inches off the waist is wonderful! I'd concentrate on that and let that little old one pound loss just go!

YOu are nice, I told my dd she couldn't have a sleepover. Last time I did that, one girl puked, another got homesick and then some dumb mom rang my bell quite late to bring her daughter's toothbrush over! They are a lot of work and a lot of girlie drama!

YOur dd is about six weeks older than my son, where does the time go? I always walk down memory lane when my kids' birthdays come around. Just yesterday I remember how my mom had taken me to lunch 15 years ago to celebrate "next month Matthew will be born"! My mom and I always used any excuse to eat out!:rotfl:

Keep up the hard work, you are doing great!

Hey Tracey, hope things are well, we miss you around here! Come back, we need our friend from across the pond!:rotfl:

OMG i've been missing in action for almost a month!!!!
where has the time gone????

i have to be quick too as DD's laptop is away being mended (for the last 4 weeks!!) and as she is now in her last year at school (she is staying on but exams are this/next year) i have to give her priority for the computer!!

work - hectic - very challenging year group, lots of special needs mainly behaviour, have had to cover class & teach 3 times in the last 3 weeks as the teacher is doing a big course on childrens writing & implementing it in other schools.

exercise - gym 3x a week, spinning 2x a week, walking to work & back 2x a week, and now cycle to work 3x a week as parking is a nightmare & stressing me out!!....so exercise going very well!!

food - good days and bad but with all the exercise i can get away with the odd bad day.!

WI - 10 stone 12 lb's slow VERY slow but definatly loosing inches!!! i could proberbly loose more if i was better with food, but prefer to eat within reason what i want & loose more slowly!

Family - all good :)

i sooo need to catch up with everyone, but right now i sooooo need my bed, hope everyone is doing well, thanks for looking in on me, miss ya :grouphug:

Tracey: I am glad things are going well! I hear you on giving priority to your daughter on the computer, once my two are home, its off the computer for me! Oh well, they can study hard, get good jobs and support me in my old age!

Exercise is awesome, no wonder you are losing inches! Don't stress about the food, you are obviously doing well on that front too, and if you never splurged, well what's the point? You gotta live life and enjoy it to make the hard work worth it all!

Wow, Tracey! You are doing so AWESOME!! I hear you about kids growing up. DD will be 18 soon!! don't worry too much about food. You are simply AMAZING with all you have going on doing as much as you do!

exercise - awesome
food - great
WI - no change :headache:
arghhhhhhhhh

felt ill all week, kids at school are VERY hard work, & on friday i managed to inadvertantly offend the school secretary which ended up with me sat crying in a cupboard for an hour!!!
and my on again off again neighbour is driving me nuts!!

saturday
the secretary & i managed to sort things out via text/phone call on saturday, & i suppose in the grand scheme of things non of this stuff is all that bad - decided to give myself a day off from the gym on saturday as still felt run down - am feeling guilty though!
The teacher i work with came over with her DH to watch her wedding that DH had put onto dvd, it was a nice day - we sat outside our local pub, bbq'ed & went for a bike ride :)

Sunday - DH & i went for a long walk - this is the 3rd sunday morning in a row we've done this & i really enjoy it, we stop off for tea & share a cheese scone :) he wanted to watch a football match at the pub so i managed to talk him into taking DD & I for a carvery lunch then DD & I went food/clothes shopping :)
i've just finished dying my hair deep, dark brown - looks nice, i was ready for a change!

all in all a nice weekend after a lousy week :rolleyes1
oh and DD got her laptop back

I'm sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well, Tracey. I hope you're feeling much better now!:wizard:

I'm glad everything got worked out with the school secretary. :goodvibes

I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

Tracey: Stress is the likely culprit for no weight loss. When you are moving and eating properly, you know you are doing it right so the scale will catch up I am sure!

Glad you and the secretary sorted it out, you are so sweet to worry and feel so bad. Can't imagine you ever offending anyone!

That is great you took a walk with dh, its a healthy and active way to spend time together.

Keep up the good work and glad dd got her laptop back!

Hi Tracey,

How are you, my friend? I hope you and your family are doing well. :goodvibes We miss you around here.:grouphug: Hope you'll be back soon!:goodvibes
