My first ever attempt at a trip report, so forgive me if i go on too much 
The cast:

Gary DF (DH on week 3!!)
dad (my dad)

The Plan:
week 1 - disney all stars music
week 2 - quality inn plaza on i-drive
week 3 - hilton clearwater beach resort at clearwater (including wedding)
Well after 18 months of planning & being excited our trip had finally arrived & believe it or not i was already starting to feel depressed at the thought that it would be over all too soon (sad i know!!)
We stayed overnight at the copthorne gatwick hotel, we attempted virgins twilight checkin,
i was VERY concerned about checking my case with my wedding gown in the night before, but was reassured it would be ok, & i'm glad to report it was
The flight was on time & very smooth (crossing my fingers for 8 hours does seem to work!!) it even went by pretty quickly!
When we landed we sailed through immigration, cases were waiting & towncar driver was ready & waiting with a card with our name on!

Was checked in at ASMu in just over an hour from landing!
We were in 'rock' which was a bit of a walk from the main building, but right next to the much quieter 2nd pool!
Weather VERY HOT, record highs in the 90's!
We went to down town disney in the hope of eating at planet hollywood, but after one look at the amount of people on the bus, i knew i chances were not good, & i was right! so after a walk round & buying clay aitkins latest cd at virgin megastores, we went back to the hotel & ate pizza by the pool, got to bed about 11.30pm & was proud we had managed to stay up that long! We had an early start in the morning ADR breakfast at AK.
Mum & dad seemed pretty well impressed with everything so far, maybe i should mention that if it wasnt for the fact we were getting married, there was no way my dad would have came, he really wasnt looking forward to visiting the US & wdw, & said there was no way he was having his picture took with a giant cuddly thing or was he no way going to wear a birthday button........... but wdw magic prevailed as you will find out on the following days
