Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Tracy
Looks like you had a good week. Did DH get home okay? Way to go on the yourself time Friday AM. :thumbsup2 Like Amy said, everyone needs those.

:woohoo: for Free Dining. :woohoo: Only Epcot??? there is so much to do there (and places to eat) But no MK? What willpower you have. :worship:

Here's hoping for a great Monday for you. :hug:

Glad to hear you got some rest. One park? Like someone else - willpower! What else will you be exploring?

congrats on the loss Tracy, hope DH got home safely
Epcot is a good choice - lots of nice restaurants :)

Hi Tracy- yeah this humidity can take a hike, I have now given up my fantasy to move to Florida!!!!!!!!!! Maybe during the winter and that's it.

The puppy is doing good- wish she would learn to tell us she had to go out- not many accidents but we are out with her every hour- ugh! At night she holds it for about 5 hrs.And the biting and chewing needs to stop too- she has lots of toys but likes the furniture and us better some times.

We also sat on the porch watching the rain it was a nice relief.We have found now that we know Disney inside and out we only do 2 parks each trip- need to relax too now that we are older-HA!HA!

Have a good one,
Linda

Thanks for stopping by ladies. :grouphug:

The past couple of days have been a bit rough. :( I have come to realize that when you are under intense stress for over 3 weeks, you can't just flip a switch and expect to be cool, calm, and collected. Right now, I am battling through some serious fatigue and I'm starting not to feel well either. My DH told me that I should try to take it easy for the next few days and if I end up getting sick, I may not have a choice. Sigh. :(

The good news is that our vacation is 60 days away!:banana: I can't wait!:goodvibes Our plans for the moment look like this:

Sunday: arrive, hang out at POP, maybe meet up with family

Monday: hang out by the pool, dinner @ Kona Cafe, wishes from the Poly beach

Tuesday: Sea World, dinner @ Chef Mickeys

Wednesday: pool, dinner @ Boma

Thursday: DTD, dinner @ Turf Club

Friday: Epcot, dinner @ Le Cellier

Saturday: pool, dinner @ Narcoosee's

Sunday: pool, dinner at Cape May Cafe, movie at BC beach, Illuminations from the Boardwalk

Monday: leave :(

I know we're only doing 2 parks this time (Sea World, Epcot), but we will be back in December and we'll do DHS, Epcot, and maybe the MK if we can fit MVMCP in. Our September vacation is usually about relaxing and food. (Free dining) We usually save the parks for December when we can enjoy the holiday atmosphere. :santa: (And we can walk to DHS and Epcot from BCV!)

Well, that's about all from here. Hope everyone has a nice evening!:hug:

That looks like an excellent itinerary to me! I love hanging out at the Disney resorts and just relaxing. You are going to some of my favorite places. I had really wanted to try Narcoose's, but couldn't get a consensus of which place we had planned to cancel since its a two ts! Have you eaten there before? It looks so good and they have lobster.:cloud9:

I hope you get some rest so that you don't get sick. But yeah, stress doesn't just melt away automatically!

Hang in there and I hope you start to feel better soon.:hug:

great itinerary Tracy!
i have TWO meals booked most days - & am wondering if i can possibly eat that much - gonna try though ;)

Thanks Amy and Tracey. :grouphug:

We paid off our trip today!!!!:woohoo::yay::banana::cheer2: :dance3: :cool1: I am so excited! :yay: Now the money that my DH earns from deejaying will go towards gas and the car rental. :thumbsup2

We've never eaten at Narccoosse's before. I can't wait to try it! :cool1: I am soooo looking forward to the surf and turf! :lovestruc

We've got a busy weekend ahead: deejaying, shopping, and a birthday party on Sunday. It will be Monday before we know it! :eek:

If you could, please send good thoughts and prayers for my grandma. She has been in the hospital for a few days now and is getting frustrated by the lack of progress they are making in treating her condition. (bleeding in the small intestine) She is actually missing the big family reunion this weekend and is very upset about that. Please pray that the doctors would have wisdom in how to treat this and that they would get it fixed properly. This is the 2nd time she has been hospitalized for this in the past two weeks. :( Thanks!:grouphug:

Hope everyone has a nice weekend! :goodvibes

Good evening friends,

Today has been an okay day. We've been pretty busy running around and getting things done for my DD7's birthday party tomorrow. (It's a co-birthday party with her cousins.) We also visited with my grandma at the hospital today. It looks like she will have surgery on Monday to remove the part of the intestine that is bleeding. Good thoughts and prayers for her are much appreciated!:grouphug:

We have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow:

* Church
* CVS/ Wags
* Birthday party
* DH works
* Grocery shopping

My DH called and won't be home for another hour or so. I should use the extra time to make a menu plan and a grocery list for the week ahead. I'll probably end up reading the DIS instead. LOL! ;)

Hope everyone has a nice evening!:grouphug:

Happy Monday!!! :goodvibes

We had a nice weekend. My DH deejayed on Saturday and we had my DD7's birthday party with her cousins yesterday. She got $20 in McDonalds gift cards and $40 in cash.:) (Her actual birthday isn't until next Tuesday.)

We'll be buying $200 in gas cards for our trip today!:banana: After we purchase the gift cards, we'll need:

*$150 in fuel cards (Hoping that $350 total will be enough for both trips this year!)

* $200 for tips and Mousekeeping

* $302 for car rental

My DH has two more weddings to deejay before we leave in September so that should be an extra $300+ that we can apply to the $652 we need. I'll probably list some things on Craigslist and maybe have a garage sale as well. :goodvibes

Today's Plan:
* Surveys
* Work for DH
* Order book for DH
* Menu plan/grocery shop
* Target
* Buy gas cards for trip
* Laundry

That's about all from here. Have a marvelous Monday!:grouphug:

Tracy-I'm thinking about you and hoping you grandmom is doing better.

I like you itinerary too. Our only park this trip will be Epcot also. We've had trips where we've done alternative things like the water parks and off property sightseeing. We've enjoyed them cause they're a little more low key. Just staying on Disney property is enough for me sometimes. This trip we decided to hang out at the Dolphin until 4 or so and then go to Epcot. Still haven't decided if we want to make an ADR.

I really admire you and your financial planning. I should take a lesson from you in my old age-LOL!

Have a great week!!!!!!

Hi Tracy
I hope you have been able to relax a bit. Sounds like you had a good weekend. Love that you paid off your trip and have your budget set. I also love your itinerary. It looks great and your ADRs also.

How is your Grandmother? I pray surgery went well and she will be doing better soon.

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Grandma had surgery yesterday and it seems to have gone well. I haven't had a chance to talk to her yet because she was in recovery until late in the evening last night. I'm hoping to talk to her today. Thanks for your good thoughts and prayers!:grouphug:

Today is our 14th wedding anniversary!:lovestruc My MIL is going to watch the kids for most of the day and my DH and I are going to go birthday shopping for DD7 and out to eat.

We got our gas cards yesterday!:banana: I forgot to add our Sea Worlds tickets in the total yesterday. :blush: So, we need:

* $150 for gas cards (should be enough for both trips)

* $180 for Sea World

* $200 for tips and Mousekeeping

* $302 for car rental

DH has two more weddings, we'll list some things on Craigslist, and I have several rebates that should be coming in soon that we can add to the Disney fund. :banana:

Well, that's about all from here. Have a great day!:grouphug:

:dance3: Happy Anniversary to you and DH, Tracy!:dance3: I hope you all have a great day.

Glad to hear that Grandma's surgery went well. I pray it was a success and she feels better soon. :goodvibes

Your trip is getting so close. I just really love the schedule you posted. Sounds so relaxing, yet you are at Disney. :cloud9:

Tracy,

I am so sorry to have been so out of touch the last several days. I will say some prayers (better late than never I guess) for a speedy recovery. I am so sad she missed the family reunion. That must have been so sad for her and all of you.:sad1:

Happy Anniversary! Just think, the July I was celebrating my 4th anniversary and pregnant with Maria, you were getting married!

That is great news your trip is paid off, you have a few odds and ends to get squared away and then you'll be all ready to go!

I am so excited you are going to Sea World, dd and I loved Sea World last June and want to go back in 2011.

Thanks Lisa and Amy!:grouphug:

We had a great anniversary yesterday!:goodvibes My DH bought me roses and cheese and crackers. (My fave snack!:lovestruc ) After we dropped the kids off at my MIL"s house, we got some errands done. Then we went to an Italian restaurant for dinner and shopping for DD7's birthday. It was nice to have some uninterrupted time with my DH. :goodvibes He ever turned his Blackberry off!:thumbsup2

Today's Plan:
* Workout
* Couple of surveys
* Order DD a gift and DH a book
* Plan DD's birthday

I need to start working on lesson plans for the first week of school. We start August 17th!:eek:

Hope everyone has a nice day today!:grouphug:

Tracy, sounds like you had a great day yesterday. Kudos to DH for turning off that blackberry. :goodvibes I'd say he's a keeper. :thumbsup2

How is SR coming for you this month? Have any goals for us to watch? I love doing that.

We start school on August 4th.:faint:

Tracy Happy anniversary! WOW you guys start school early- I thought we were early Aug 30th. for our city.

Have a great week

Linda

Roses, Italian food, cheese and crackers and alone time, that sounds like a wonderful anniversary!:cloud9::love: You guys so deserved that.

One good thing about losing his old job, Dan got to turn his blackberry in and is just down to his cell phone! Something good comes of everything.;)

I can't believe you start back up with school on the 17th. Why does summer go so much faster than the rest of the year? Oh well, if school is about to start, so is your Disney trip!!!

I hope today is a great day for you.:goodvibes
