For my birthday, I got a CD that my DH and his buddy made for me after deejaying Saturday night with songs from the 80s/90s on it! My DDs gave me $1 ( ), some pictures they colored, and my DD4 gave me her favorite puzzles. How sweet! Plus, I had breakfast delivered to me this morning! A great start to the day!

I would appreciate your prayers for my Mom.... She has not been herself the past couple of years and she is having a tough time right now. I'd also appreciate your prayers for my dad to as he tries to figure out what is going on and how to deal with it. Thanks.

Today looks to be a more relaxed day.... Laundry, Homeschool, Work. That's it. My DH is working on the side job today which gives me a chance to get caught up at home.

I requested Sunday off from work so that we can have a relaxing day as a family. I'm hoping to talk to my DH and my MIL about our Disney trip because I think we are going to need to shorten it a bit.....

Sorry to hear of all the stress going on right now.....keep your head up. It will get better. I just know it will. You are doing a great job staying on track while you DH is working late. Keep it up!

I hope everything is okay with your DM, hoping that they figure out what is going on. I also hope that your DH cousin is doing good.....tons of P&PD being sent your way for everyone to have a speedy recovery. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Happy Birthday Tracy! Sorry your special day was so hectic! My birthday is on Christmas so I have learned to just set aside a day a week or so before or after the actual day for "my" day. Sounds like you need to reserve a day for you! That is so sweet how your dd's gave you a dollar and a favorite puzzle. What a nice memory! I hope that you don't have to shorten your trip too much. But some time in Disney of any length is better than no time! I will keep your mom and dad in my prayers. Its good that your recognize how stressful this is for your dad as well, I know in my own situation with my parents it can be easy to forget about the one who is not sick! Just keep hanging in there, you are doing so much and for so many people. Don't forget to take care of yourself too! Happy Birthday WISH Sister!

I'm listening to Bon Jovi's It's My Life on my new CD my DH made. It's making me want to exercise, but I don't think that's a good idea at 11:41 p.m. Bon Jovi is one of my favorite groups of all time!

Today was a good day.... Had some stress with mom, was almost late to work, but it was still good. My DH surprised me with a cake this evening after work. It was yummy!

I've managed 60 minutes of exercise in the past two days.... Not sure I will make this month's goal.

I'm off to bed.... Have a great evening!

The past few days have been quite stressful as we have tried to finish up this side job. My DH is getting quite frazzled about the whole thing. Of course, it doesn't help that he hasn't had much sleep the past few weeks.

Still dealing with parent issues..... quite stressful at the moment.

My DD5 has been having a hard time lately. She has been crying a lot which isn't like her. I'm trying to figure out what is going on.....My other DD has been a bit of a troublemaker lately....

Let's see... We have a huge problem with our muffler on the van, we have a flat tire, and now, something is wrong with our dryer.....

On top of that, we are still wiating for payment on the job my DH did last month. The payment was supposed to be a NET 15 and it's now going on 30 days.... I don't understand why people can't keep their word. My DH did the work and he should get paid per the terms of agreement. End of story.

Can you tell that I am stressed out?

I probably won't be able to get to journals until next week..... Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Good evening WISH buddies~

Today has been a very long day.... My DH was too tired to do the real estate project by himself this mroning so we packed up the kids and spent the day in downtown Cleveland. It was an interesting experience! I haven't spent time in Cleveland unless it was for a sporting event or Disney on Ice. I never took the time to just walk around and see what is going on. It was cool!

Other than that, the day has totally tanked... My DH is still getting no repsonse in regards to the job he did a few weeks ago. We were told the payment would be sent out on Tuesday and so far, it has not arrived. The other person that worked with DH on the project is getting upset and frustrated as well. The payment was a NET 15 and it is beyond a NET 30. Again, the contractor made the terms, not my DH. My DH did his work and should have been compensated for it weeks ago... I don't need this stress and neither does he.

We are also facing some major extended family issues as well... Who knows how they will turn out?

I'm sorry for coming here to vent.... I am frustrated with my life right now. My MIL said that this too shall pass.... What I wonder is when?

The past few days have been tough, but I am looking forward to tomorrow... Nothing planned but rest and relaxation with the family.....

My DH should finish his side job on Monday. He ran out of steam on Friday.... We'll overnight the paperwork on Monday evening and then take a couple of days to recouperate before jumping into the next project.

I forgot to mention that I got two solid hours of walking in on Friday when we were downtown Cleveland.... I'll add that to my total, but I don't think 1200 is gonna happen this month.

Sorry for all the stress and worry you're going through.

Great job on the exercise as well. We were in Cleveland many years ago (DD, 13 was a baby!) What I remember was seems like downtown had lots of construction going on. We went to the zoo and Sea World, fun trip.

Tracy, I am so sorry about all this stress you are going through! That is especially frustrating about your dh not getting paid for the work he did. Some people just don't know how to do the right thing and its very frustrating! I hope it turns out all right. Also, so sorry about your extended family problems. My dh and I go through this sort of thing all the time with some of our respective, weird, crisis never ending family members. Makes us appreicate the family members who aren't that way! Just hang in there, you are in my prayers and thoughts as always Wish Sister! And good job with the two hour walk the other day. I am not making September's challenge (unless I walk all the way to Ohio to see you in the next two days ) either. In the big picture of our current lives its not the end of the world. October 1 and a new challenge is less than one week away. Keep your chin up!

Today was a better day...... My mom seems to be in a better frame of mind right now. I hope it lasts.... We got homeschooling done early, went to my mom's, came home, watched TV, and then I went to work. I have to work tomorrow and Wednesday too. On Friday, we are taking the girls on a field trip to an apple picking farm. And guess what? My DH is compeltely and totally off on Saturday! Yeah!

In regards to the job my DH hasn't gotten paid for yet.... We got an e-mail today stating that the check will go out today. We were told that 2 weeks ago so we shall see.... He almost was able to finish up the real estate project today, but wasn't feeling well so it looks like tomorrow is the day.

Tomorrow's Plan:
* Homeschool
* Go to my mom's for a brief (and I mean brief!) visit
* Maybe go for a walk
* Relax....

I think I am going to get back to eBaying next week... There's just too much going on this week.

I'm so sorry to hear about all of the issues bringing you down right now...but glad you had a better day yesterday! Life deals us a pretty bad hand sometimes but it's how you make it through those times that determines the core of who you are. Keep your chin up and take things as they come....things will get better over time.
