My DS4 loves it. I don't mind it, but I would probably skip the huge wait, if I didn't have a kid that loved Toy Story. It does remind me a lot Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger spin with the shooting and getting points.
Rode 2X during our last trip in September. Thought the 3D effects definately made the ride. I would have enjoyed even if the wait was an hour. Looking at the giant toys while in line was fun also. My DD 4, DM 65 and myself all liked it.
IT ROCKS By far and away my favorite ride/attraction at Disney. I rode with dd and we had a ball. My kids both really LOVED it too. Get fastpasses as soon as you enter the park. We got there at 11am and our fast pass was for 345-445 and when we could go get another the fast passes were done. I would have loved to ride it again!
We were at WDW in January (7th to the 15th in the parks). We absolutely loved it. We are going to Dland in March and we can't wait to head for it there. We were always late for fastpasses, but went on it during evening magic hours, right at the start of them and it was only a 20 minute wait. We went 3X. We then went back the next day and stood in line for almost an hour. It was slower because of the fastpassses that had already been distributed and that slowed the line. There are no fasspasses during magic hours, so the line takes less time, even though it appears the same length. To me, it's like a combo of Roger Rabbit at Disneyland combined with Buzz Lightyear and then some. The only thing I wish that they would do was load the cars differently. They hold two each side and are back to back, therefore if you are in a group of four, the rest of your group is behind you when the ride is in motion.
