We do have a morning FP for SDD but my DD wants to go back and ride the TSL rides again at dark. What time would you suggest heading back to TSL with a 9 pm park closing time? We are staying at Beach Club and I am trying to figure out if its worth leaving for some pool time!! Thanks in advance!

Really depends on what you’re trying to do if all the rides or just a couple. If it was me going and I did it in the AM, I’d probably be there by 745, just personally. Id do SDD last.

What do you want to ride? We got on TSM and SDD in the last hour before closing time, we really enjoyed SDD at night.

When are F! and the Star Wars show on your night?

Fantasmic is at 9 and Star Wars show at 9:30. I was also questioning how leaving the park would go with fireworks at 9:30. Is it going to be a nightmare trying to leave with everyone waiting for or watching fireworks? We need the easiest way to get to the boat dock to BCV or I was wondering if we could sit in the back of the theatre and view the end of Fantasmic just to avoid the mob!!

TSL is amazing at night. Much better than daytime.
There were still lines close to close, but not as bad as earlier in the day.

If you are gong to leave before the show is over, you need to sit on the isle so you aren't walking over people trying to leave. In the past there is only the exit that puts you close to the entrance of the park. From there it is a short walk to the boats.
Personally, we like to walk back from HS to BWV or BC. It isn't a bad walk. Depending on how long you wait for a boat to arrive at HS , we have often gotten back before the boats.

The fireworks are neat from TSL. It’s too bad it closes early, because SDD is fun with added fireworks to view. (Note, you don’t see the projections from TSL)

Do you have any suggestions on where to view the fireworks from TSL or near TSL? I would much rather sit somewhere and relax and see part of the show than try to wade through the crowds at the entrance during the show!!

Is the walk clearly marked? I would rather walk in the morning than wait for a boat to arrive but this is our first stay at BCV and I have no idea where we are going!! I read in other threads that it is a 20 minute walk and was afraid that I would make a wrong turn and get off course :)

Basically the walkway along the entire SDD extended queue. The fireworks are to your right as you walk to SDD, so the view may get worse the farther back from SDD.
It’s kinda fun seeing fireworks behind the SDD track .... but it’s no where as impressive as watching MK fireworks back by the Beauty and the Beast castle (where large bursts are closer and bigger)

One year, I watched DHS fireworks from in front of the Star Tours entrance, and that was really neat. But that may have been before they moved the DHS fireworks launch pad back, or if current construction is in the way.

It is marked. But I don’t think I would feel comfortable doing the walk without 1st making a test walk around Boardwalk in a prior day.
@Robo made a great map of the Epcot Area resort walking paths in this thread:

We're also planning to return to TSL one evening at the end of this month. It will be the same day we did EMM that morning, then left for a substantial break.
I keep reading that it's worth visiting TSL after dark--is it just riding SD? Or seeing the lights? I'm trying to figure out how much time to plan on being there. The park closes at 8:30, with SW fireworks at 9pm that we'd like to see. I did get us a Slink Dog fastpass for 7:00-8:00pm, but I have no idea if this is the sort of thing where we'll just want to pop by for the ride. Thanks!

As a new land, TSL has more vibrant LED lighting than most lands at WDW.
(But it’s not an epic transformation like Pandora at night)

SDD has the main difference and worth trying at day and night. There’s a decent chance the line could be short enough in the last half hour to ride, again.

What do you think the odds will be to be able to ride SDD in the PM after Star Wars opens? Going 2 weeks after opening day and only have either a Saturday night or a Monday night to ride. Doubting I will be able to get a FP because of the short time frame at WDW.
