Went to TOWL yestterday 7/16/2012, we are staying at BCV's. Got up there about 9 pm and about 25 people were in the lounge with a few standing outside. At abot 9:45 there were about 50 to 60 int the lounge and it looked rather full. Most seemed to order something and no one appeared to bring their own food or drink, about 15 people outside at this time. At 10:00 we paid our bill ( there were 10 of us) and went outside to watch wishes. There were abot 100 people outside and 30 left in lounge. We left right after wishes and when we left there were still about 30 people left in lounge.

Did they have the BLT flatbread back on the menu? When we stayed at BLT in May it was not. I was told to contact the Waves lounge, as Waves set the menu. I did stop in at the Waves lounge for a drink and expressed my disappointment that the signature item was not on the menu. It was our favorite and since we do not own at BLT and rarely stay there, it was very disappointing to not be able to enjoy it in May.

We are staying at OKW next week for a couple of nights and intend to stop by TOTW for a drink. Not at all interested in seeing the fireworks and will probably stop by shortly after they open. Since we have Florida season passes we are blacked out of the parks now. One of our favorite activities is to skip dinner and stop by several of the lounges at the resorts around Bay Lake for an appetizer and drink. Just hoping the BLT flatbread is back.

and in your opinion was it worth it? Something you would do again? We're thinking of going in August, just to see what it's all about before they decide to change its access once again!

We did not look at the food menu as we only ordered drinks.

It is worth it to me. The fire works are neat to watch from there, and the lounge has a nice atmosphere.

I would like to add a little bit more about our experience. We probably would have had another drink but our waitress took a long time to get to us and never came around to ask us if we wanted another round. This may be because they had more guests than normal and were not staffed correctly. Their only seemed to be one waitress and a manager that would help out a little.

When we came they noted what resort we were staying at, I presume to collect statistics on who is utilizing the place

Thanks for the update, we will be hitting it this weekend and I will also post how it goes!

Trying to figure out how I'm going to get there, were you already at MK and then headed to BLT or did you come from BCV? We will be staying at Kidani, but I don't know if I want to go during a park day or after the waterpark for a relaxing nightcap and fireworks!

We watched Wishes from there in December....I was a little disappointed, I guess because I've always seen it from the FRONT of the Castle. At the TOWL, you see the fireworks going off from different locations behind the castle, and it just looks "off".

My BFF and I will be at WDW exactly two weeks from today, and since we're just relaxing and not doing parks, this is on my list of must-dos to see Wishes - we usually visit the Poly beach to watch, and probably still will one night, but I'm excited to have a drink at the lounge and check it out!

everyone is different - loved Wishes from TOW - can't go until Sept...

I've been at 1 of 1 tables, 1 of 3 tables and 1 of 6-7 tables and the service has always been the same - VERY slow and 2 of the 3 times required going over to get the waiters attention.

I was at TOTWL last night (7/20) and it was just the same as OP described his visit. I arrived at 9:30 and the lounge was pretty well full. Most people were eating and/or drinking. The CMs seemed to be doing their best, but the place was understaffed. I just ordered a beer at the bar and drank it outside while waiting for the fireworks. The observation deck had a good number of people but was not overly crowded Overall, it was a very nice experience.

We had dinner at Poly so we took a bus to MK, than the Monorail to Poly, than Monorail again to BLT. After we left BLT, we walked to MK bus stop and took that back to BCV's.

Forgive me because I have obviously missed something but now any DVC member can visit TOWL? Must you be staying on points & show your KTTW card or just your DVC card?

Many Thanks! :)

Any DVC Member staying at any DVC resort now has access to TOTWL. It's an announcement DVC recently made and lasts for the next few months. If this offering doesn't generate much needed revenue, I wouldn't be surprised if TOTWL closes its doors.

I have had exactly the same experience.
