Okay so I went to WDW this past weekend for Super Soap Weekend @ MGM and a certain Ms Poohbear123 (Faith) wanted to do ToT. Well I had never been on it before and was reluctant but I thought what the hay, I will give it a try - does not look tooooo bad.

NEVER AGAIN will I ride that ride! Ughh it made me naseous for about an hour or two. Yeah call me a wimp but at least I went on it.

Anyone else not care for that ride? I was okay the first couple of drops but after the 3rd I was ready to GET OFF!!!

I LOVE it but my daughter will never ride it again. LOL She hated it. Her big brother loves it though.

I don't prefer it either. I went on it for the first time a few years ago and thought I was going to DIE!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll stick with Dumbo thank you

Aww Christine and here I wanted to do that one ride with you during Dis Con!!! :p;)

I love TOT and could ride that one all day!! :) It is one of my faves! :)

I am SO glad that I am not the only one Sydally! :)

Beans - you can ride it all you want but you wont see me on it. lol no way Jose! :)

I love that ride! I will do it with anyone during DisCon. I think it is a blast. I took my DH on it in Septemder ( his first WDW trip EVER0 and he loved it too. I think the show is beautiful:)

I love it too. But you wouldn't catch me on Dumbo. Round and round in those small circles makes me sick to think about it! :o

I love TofT. I don't suffer from motion sickness though.

I haven't ridden ToT in years. It makes my heart race and skip beats. It's no fun. I can handle Dr. Doom's Fearfall so much more easily, though I prefer to skip that one too. It's the anticipation that gets me, I think. I'd like to see the show again, but I don't think it's worth it. I just keep walking through the queue with friends and taking the wimp elevator down.

I used to love that ride when I first went on it back in 1995. I have been too "chicken" to go on it since. I have issues with rides that push me up so quickly like that so from what I've seen, I am not sure if I can ride that one anymore. I know people love the more exciting way it is now, but I keep wishing they'd make it just the single drop again because it is such a cool ride otherwise!!!

Hate it, hate it, hate it.

If you've ever been really trapped in an elevator before, you'll understand.

I went on it twice and LOVED the special effects, but HATED the drops! I love roller coasters, but this one I will NOT do again.

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm with my DD sydally on this one. Did TOT once, will never do it again !!!!

But I do love RnR. Can't wait to ride it again in Dec.

It's an awesome ride. We took MIL who is 62 on it for the first time last month. She laughed so hard, she almost wet herself!!  We went on it a few times after that too. Now my nephew ( not the one in my sig) who is 13 cried almost the whole ride:rolleyes:  .

ToT is my ultimate favorite ride at WDW!!!! i LOVE it!!!! it always scares me , but i love it and can't wait to ride it again!!

but you can keep me away from ITTBAB in AK...and AE in MK...i don't like those...

Are you kidding??? One of my faves and my seat is the deadman's seat!!!

Rode it once in '97 and I have the picture to prove it. Don't need to do it again.

The kids loved it. My DD kept calling it the up and down ride and kept wanting to go back on it. It didn't matter what park we were in at the time, she wanted to go back on it.

That ride ruined me so much for elevators. I know they are a necessity, but I had to go to a conference in Atlanta in 2000 and I stayed at the Westin. They put me on the 44th floor. UGH! An elevator to the 44th floor! I rode up to about 16 when a maintenance man got on with me. When he tried to get off at 30, I asked if he'd ride the rest of the way with me. He laughed, but did. He even asked if I wanted him to walk me to my room. I was fine once I got to my floor and once in my room, I hugged the window so I could see all the way down. That was cool. I just didn't like the ride up or down.

Christine
I can't believe you rode!! You know I don't like it...we sat out together waiting for the others at our little meet. Remember??

I have ridden TWICE but NEVER again. I hated it the first time....I have the pic where I'm sprawled on my DH and DS.
I don't know WHY I got on a second time 2 years later, except that I didn't feel afraid until the doorman came to shut the door. AT that point I suddenly screamed to be let out!! He just looked at me, smiled and let the door close. I must have had some sort of panic attack at being closed in cuz I continued to throw a fit and even tried to climb out from under the lap bar....(in case anybody wants to know if it can be done...it can't) My poor DH had to calm me down and talk me thru it and when it was finally over and walked off I still shook with fear
So never again no matter how confident I may feel

Now I love RnR :bounce:

Wow, Debbie, that must have been an experience for everyone in the elevator with you, LOL. :)

I ride it most trips to WDW. Usually when I get off, I am a bit light-headed/dizzy (old head, LOL). Glad you tried it, Christine.
