I love it!! My daughter who is very tall rode it the first time at age 4..and it is her VERY favorite ride so we ride it as many times as we can each trip to California Adventure. She always asks to wear my sunglasses on a leash around her neck so she can giggle as they float in mid-air. (hey she is only 6 now!!)
She loves the free fall, but is a bit spooked by the story lone..still!!
So, love it.....but not a member of the family can even look at the SunWheel in CA without getting a shiver and a slightly quesy stomach. Ugh.

ok, first, i hate elevators and i hate heights...stupid me goes on it at WDW and i ride about 6-7 times before i decide that i hate, hate, hate this ride...:rotfl2: especially after i look at our last pic, and my 2 girlfriends and all our kids are laughing and having fun, and i look like i am in immense pain...Now, fast forward 1 1/2 years til we head to DL, and here i go again, 3 time around, my DH sits beside me and at the end of the ride, he looks at me very concerned and says "sharon, are u okay"....:confused3 ...ok, the last couple of days, i stay off and let the kids and DH go on....i did ride the mailboomer probably 12-15 times and it was a love/hate thing, but i would ride it again in a heartbeat...as for tower of terror.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm:laughing:

This is my all time favorite ride. I could ride this one over and over back to back---I think it is awesome.

My DH and I loved it!!! He was laughing hysterically the whole time, which made me laugh so we just enjoyed it. The part in the dark where the ghosts appear freaked me out much more than the falling. I loved it though.

Some people can stand the anticipation and the free fall feeling.

I don't think we'll be taking my step daughter 7 and step son 4 on it though. I don't want them in therapy years later saying "Our STEPMOTHER made us go on this ride and we've NEVER gotten over it!!!" ;)

The Maliboomer is really fun, but in my opinion it's WORSE than ToT b/c your feet are dangling and that anticipation before you fly into the air the first time is agony! Still got the same scream-laugh response though!!:rotfl:

When we went to disney about four years ago I loved the ToT. Now, however, I've gotten older and don't like it any more.

I rode it last September with my 5-year-old who begged me all day to ride it. I didn't want to; I've seen those home videos on TV of people screaming their lungs out. Long story short, we finished up everything we wanted to do that day at MGM around 5 or so and were just waiting to see Fantasmic. The line was somewhat short and I was tired of the whining so we rode it. I loved it. DD on the other hand could have been the poster child for the home videos of people screaming their lungs out. She absolutely hated it, refuses to ever ride it again, and even had difficulties dismounting off the uneven bars in gymnastics for several months.

I really wish we had a photo of it, but we were in the back and she was so short you couldn't see her in the photo.

I'm a 'take it or leave it' gal with ToT. I like it OK, but not worth waiting in a long line or rearranging the day around it.

IT WOULD NOT BE ATRUE WDW VACATION IF I DO NOT GET ON TOT:cool1: I'M LIKE A KID IN A CANDY SHOP WHEN IT COMES TO TOT, I WANT MORE AND MORE AND MORE:cheer2:

I will admit that at first glance, I was hesitant to ride TOT-my biggest fear is being in a free falling elevator..but after I rode it I loved it. Even DD, who was only 7 on that trip enjoyed it. First words from her afterward were that she wanted to ride again, and we did 2 more times after that.

I LOVE TOT and have ridden it lots of times. My family does not love it. They will usually ride it once with me. They do love RnR,etc so I think it is the freefall that gets them.

DW and I love TOT. I think you can measure how good a thrill ride is by how much it :scared1: you, while still making you :cool1:  after it's over. I think it's the anticipation that really scares the pooh: out of me.

I love Tower of Terror! My kids will ride it with me too. DH can take it or leave it.

Same here. Now my 2 DS's hate it. They tell me that it gives them a funny feeling in a part of their body that I don't have! ;)

ToT is our favorite! We ride it several times a trip....except my son, who is now 20, who has never ridden it, and refuses to! We had to baby swap him when he was 12:) , but he thought we were tricking him into actually going on the ride, and he freaked out! We still laugh about it, but he still refuses to go on.

Im glad to hear that you can "baby swap" with older children, I will be travelling with my stepchildren who I am not sure will want to ride certain things

I love ToT!
I have a major feal of heights, so the idea of riding scared me away for a few years...My mother though, decided she was dying to try it and let me sit one out with a mickey bar! ( I was 18 and not likely to run off at the promise of candy... ) She came back telling me she loved it and I felt all the more sheepish for being out done by my own mom! So I found the resolve to ride and fell in love...!

I'd have to say the worst part of the ride for me is the part where the elevator rockets you up to the top for the opening drop...I don't know why, but I just hate that part!

 Love it:yay: :yay: Its my fav as well as my bro and sis' and parents fav too!!!!!:yay: I want to take me DD on it when we go. She is a major thrill seeker. I'm just worried it mght scare her. What's the youngest child you taken on it that has had fun?

We took our DS when he was 3 1/2- he loved Barnstormer, and Big Thunder, so we thought, why not? He is tall- 41 inches at the time, so he met height requirement. We told him everything that was going happen. He was fine- did not cry, but when it was over, he did not want to go again. Maybe because lots of women were screaming, it bothered him. I think if we laughed and made it silly, he would have liked it more.

We bought the picture, as a testament to our 'bad' parenting. He does not look scared, but he does not look thrilled either!!

I love the TOT!!!! I've been on it at least 25 times in the 3 times I've been to MGM. I'll be adding to that total in two weeks, without a doubt :)
