Towel Animals at Coronado?

Can anyone tell me if housekeeping will still make up towel animals for the kids if you leave them a note and a tip? I haven't been for some time and haven't seen any posts about them. Thanks in advance. 7 DAYS and COUNTING

I got this last year--no note (we always leave a tip every day):

We didn't get any the whole week we were there and it was pretty obvious that we had kids in the room. And we tipped everyday! So I'd try leaving a note! Although when I left a note asking for a shower cap 3 days in a row with the tip she always took the tip but never left the shower cap. Later I was told that possibly she didn't speak English. So I guess it just depends on your housekeeper. Good luck!

They used to leave these in all the rooms.

When I arrived at CSR in April 2006, I found towel animals or designs in each and every window of the resort. It was awesome!

Those are THE CUTEST towel animals I have EVER seen....LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!!

DD and I will be at CSR in 10 days! When we are at POR last summer we had an amazing MouseKeeper...only I can't remember her name now! Anyway, she faithfully left a new animal for DD EVERYDAY...without fail!!!

I say all that to say this...don't the MouseKeepers have certain sections of the resort they always clean OR are assigned to? Those of you that DID get animals at CSR, do you remember what section of the resort you stayed in? I have already requested Cabanas 9B or 9A...were either of your MouseKeepers there?!

We were in Casitas 4 and 5 the last two years when we got towel animals.

I really think whether or not you get towel animals depends on a few factors -how busy the resort is when you are there, the number of rooms the mousekeeper has to clean, and possibly even whether they know how to make them!

I think it's something nice they might do for guests, but it shouldn't be expected.

My DS11 and I stayed for 8 nights in April 2008 in Cabanas 8B and had a FANTASTIC mousekeeper named Maryann.... she already had a towel animal waiting for us in the window when we arrived and we got one more during our stay... Also everyday after returning from the parks she had taken our disney "loot" and arranged it in the front window. It was fun to come back after a long day to see what was waiting for us! I hope you have a fantastic trip! YOU WILL LOVE CSR!!!!!
