Touring the Tower of Terror and other Ghoulish Delights! Sept 13 TR | FINALx2 4/17!!!

Beautiful photos Dani!!

I have never been over to OKW before, but it looks beautiful!! I may have to do a resort visit over there some time.

:rotfl: your faces on RNRC. And you are right, they do contrast wonderfully with your front riders.

Poor Matt having to be left in conversation with that bus driver. And I do believe Lia is right that she could be fired for handing out pamphlets on her business.

Love a boat ride to DTD. We have arrived that way from POR. So relaxing and peaceful.

So I just thought of something. Did you physically check out of Wilderness Lodge? That was our problem or so they said. We just left ARt of Animation and didn't physically check out bc we had no room charges. Therefore we had lots of problems with our split stays. Just wondering if that may have been the cause for your problems.

I don't believe Matt did, but it wouldn't have mattered since we didn't have the MBs there. What ultimately happened was when Matt initially checked us in, they literally assigned our room keys to the wrong room. So if we went to room 247 or whatever it was, we could have just walked right into their room. This is the FIRST reason why our MBs weren't working.

Then when the front desk realized their mistake, they assigned our cards to the CORRECT room, which is why our cards suddenly worked all of that day. BUT! They managed to have our check out day as the next day (even though we were going to be there for another 7 days), so when we came back to our room after midnight, we were completely locked out because in their system, we'd apparently checked out? I don't know, but it was a hot mess.

Okay! How in the world did you keep that face at the start of RnRC! No matter how hard I try I scream when it starts.. On the other hand I have no issues with California Screamin's start in DL.

I only went to OKW to try Olivia's so didn't see much of the resort but it does seem to have a calm feeling.

We also love the Disney boats!! It is one of the reasons we love WL!

Hahaha I don't know, I just REALLY prepared myself. I think I have an easier time with that one than California Screamin'! That's too funny, hahaha.

OKW is really a wonderful quiet resort. I am actually excited to stay there again at some point.

Disney boats are the best, I'm with you on that!

Hi! :wave2: I've been lurking this TR since you started it but now I have to comment because of these three words:

Old Key West

It's been my family's home resort since 1994 and I love when I hear other people talk about how much they like it there.

I love your whole TR, especially your gift for encountering strange CM's :rotfl:

Aww yay! I'm so happy to said something! Matt's family has been a part of DVC since 93, and OKW has been there home, as well! But I love staying there.

And yeah, we managed to run into some pretty funny ones, hahaha.

Just finished catching up on all your updates! I loved reading about the Vinylmation trading event. Even though we aren't hardcore traders and collectors, it was so interesting getting all the inside scoop. I also sent it to my hubs so that he could read it too.

It's funny because I don't know much about what's valuable or not other than chasers and variants. I just like what I like! Hubs was looking stuff up the other day and while I was washing the dishes, he was like, "Do we still have the caramel apple?" and I said yes, because I thought it was cute and didn't want it to be traded. He was telling me that the green one is worth a lot of money, and I was like, "We have the red one. Danielle (my cousin) has the green one." When we went to Disney with them, her boyfriend at the time bought it as a surprise for her and she opened it up to get the sour caramel apple! We told her it was valuable, and she was like, "Yeah, I was going to sell it for money" and we were like, NO NO NO, don't sell it!!! Now we're nervous that she's going to sell it because we'd totally want it ... just not for $200!

I'm glad I could help! And I agree, collect what you love! My problem is that some of my favorite pieces are really valuable and are either hard to find or rare. Wompwomp. I hope she doesn't get rid of the Green Apple! But that's a good variant to have, for sure.

I saw you were responding to updates last night so I had a feeling there may be an update this morning.... :)

Wow about the bus driver, just wow. On a bus from DL to Orange County last year, we had a bus driver do a running monologue the entire drive! He went on and on about how he was too poor to go to DL when he was a kid so he would make up rides in his back yard like sticking the slide in the kiddy pool and calling it Splash Mountain. I couldn't believe he kept it up for 30 minutes! It was odd but hysterical, clearly this man had missed his calling!

Coming up- some Irish fare with the Dis's best photographed family perhaps?

Haha you know me well! And I'll be updating here tomorrow morning, as I don't think I'll have time to get an update done tonight.

Oh man, bus drivers are just crazy, I guess! Hahaha, ours was just an interesting lady, that's for sure. :rotfl:

Haha close.. you're right about the Irish fare! But it's not with who you think... though they DO appear later in this day!

Aww Dani, you're not an unobservant dork. I'm forever noticing new details all the time, every trip.

I'm with you. I can handle the pre-shows once per trip. After that, just get me to the ride. Except the stretching room. I wouldn't want to skip that.

Random Photo!! :woohoo:

WOW, what a strange bus encounter. Also funny is they weren't sure the bus would be going where you were headed... but go ahead and get on if you want. :confused3

I'm finally starting to cover off visiting all the Disney resorts, but I haven't made it to OKW yet. It sure is purdy. It really does look like a place where you could really spend a lot of vacation time just relaxing.

Hahaha, but this just cracked me up because it always bothered me that the guitar neck bent... if I'd just looked further I'd notice, hahaha.

Ugh yeah, I love SOME pre-shows, like the Haunted Mansion, but that Aerosmith thing gets old after a while. Though I do love the cameo by Ken Marino.

I don't know what was going on with the bus! She was like you can get on but I can't say it'll be going to OKW... Wellll okay, why did you pull into this stop then? So weird.

OKW is a delight! I highly suggest checking it out at some point. It's SO laid back. :thumbsup2

*whew* just got caught up after being MIA for a few months...

Still majorly enjoying your trip report...

I have to say, I am seriously starting to consider collecting vinylmations and I blame you.

I am even more antsy for my upcoming trip...and cannot wait for your next installment!

It's okay! I've definitely done the MIA thing before, too!

Hahaha I'm totally to blame for the addiction... I'm working on getting rid of a bunch of mine so we can have space again in our house!

Upcoming trips are the best! We still have another while to go, but it'll be here before we know it... I HOPE!

How can such Disney fans as yourselves, never been inside One Man's Dream?! So glad you went in and be prepared for tears when you watch the film next time!

Still haven't been to OKW but your photos of it are fabulous!

I don't know! But we finally did, and it was fantastic!

OKW is a beautiful resort. Definitely check it out if you're ever having a laid back day and want to catch a boat to DTD!

I have to chuckle at this because this is exactly the kind of things that happen to me. I have been to Disney world several times throughout my childhood and now with my own children. And it wasn't until reading something here on the Disboards that I realized what WEDway peoplemover was for Walter E Disney. Even my mother shook her head on that one...:rotfl:

HAHAHA, I'm glad I'm not alone! I'm sometimes just not the most observant person... and other times, I notice the most random details, too! :rotfl:

Hi Dani: Just wanted to check in and remind you of how awesome your trip reports are. My DW and I got back from our trip in the middle of November and a weird thing happened to me...I wanted nothing to do with the dis boards, or really even think about Disney. We had a great trip and still love Disney, I just had this weird withdrawal thingy where I really didn't care to check in on any of the things on the board that I obsessed about for weeks before the trip.

My DW says that a lot of people go through this, but I think it is really weird and bizarre.

Regardless, that is why I haven't been commenting on your report (and I know it seriously bothered you that Joben was not making comments on your TR)

I did just start getting the bug again a couple of weeks ago but only to read yours and Fantasylandmom's TR's and my favorite rumors & news.

with your latest update I felt compelled to respond because you mentioned OKW and that got my Disney High beams going... :cool1:

so now I have 46 days till my next trip to the world and I am super pumped again(me thinks my work productivity will be going down)

OKW is the place that made me really fall in love with WDW. Ft wilderness is where I went while I was a kid, but you can't go back to your childhood.

Soon we hope to be DVC members there too. I remember when my DW first proposed to renting points at OKW, I read a bunch of reviews about the place on the boards and people seemed turned off by it because it wasn't Disney themed enough, and some people stated that it was the place for old people to go. I'm right with you on the things to love about OKW. Funny thing though, I absolutely hate Jimmy Buffet, (like when I hear his music I start absentmindedly grinding my teeth) but in OKW...no problem.

Okay enough about that...well let me just state the gurgling suitcase is awesome too...and the homefries at Olivias!!!

Once again great update on your report, thanks for filling my Disney well up again :thumbsup2

Aww I'm glad you are back!! I hope your trip was wonderful! But I totally understand the wanting to get away from the DISboards. I swear it's the Post Disney Depression. It's a real thing. I think you always spend so many months planning for this trip, and then it's over and... you kind of don't know what to do with yourself? I dunno, but I get what you mean. But I'm glad you are here again!!

46 days?! I'm jealous! We have a ways to go, but it'll be worth the wait to be home again!

OKW is such a wonderful place, we love it so much there. I LIKED that there was an older crowd... it mean things were quiet! But even then, we still saw a lot of families there, too. It's just the perfect place to be when you need quiet time away from the parks. I don't know, I'm just glad it's a resort that exists, in all of its laid back glory!

I need to eat at Olivia's at some point... we still haven't, but I'm sure we will in a future trip!

Glad I could help fill up that well and to see you around the boards again!

I really enjoy that you made Matt stop to have his picture taken with the crazy hair.

OMG SHE HANDED MATT A PAMPHLET. I'm pretty sure she could get fired for that but that's hilarious.

I love OKW! You are so lucky it's your home resort! That is awesome. I love that boat ride as well. The first time I took it I was like OH MY GOD THIS IS SO COOL. It's so fun to approach DTD from there as opposed to the parking lot.

Hahahaha, I had to. I was laughing so hard because he had total 80s hair.

THAT'S WHAT I SAID! I thought it was weird, she was definitely an interesting lady, to say the least!

Me too! It's awesome, and funny enough, it costs the least amount of points to stay there out of any DVC resort. And I agree, taking the boat is such a neat way to get to DTD. I much prefer it over the bus!

Great update!

Thank you! :thumbsup2

I am so totally un-observent. I miss stuff all the time. My DH said a neon green elephant could walk past me and I would miss it. :) So I am right there with you on noticing new things each time we go.

Awesome bored face ride photo. I love that your faces are the exact opposite of the people in front of you.

I wish we could by-pass the pre-show. Okay, yes I have seen it, many, many times, can we move on now.

Beautiful pictures of OKW. I have never been there but it really does look like it would be a great place to stay.

Hahaha, I'm glad I'm not alone!

And yeah, I love that photo because of the total contrast between our faces and those people in front of us!

The pre-show is old news. Get outta my way, Aerosmith!

Thank you! It's a fabulous resort, kind of like a hidden gem, in my opinion.

I love your roller coaster face!!! Awesome! It takes work to have that much self control I'm sure.

Awesome photos of OKW. The clouds and blue skies definitely lend a note to the song, I Can See Clearly Now.... :)

Yep, I agree, Disney boats to anywhere are always fun. :thumbsup2

Hahaha thank you! It definitely does, especially when you're speed away right before you go upside down!

I so agree! I love that they play that song. It's the ultimate vacation song, I swear.

And Disney boats are the best. I love the monorail, but the boat are so relaxing!

Ahh Beach Club in the morning!

I can never win on Toy Story Mania either, no matter how hard I try! ONE DAY WE WILL BOTH WIN! I've never seen the Speak and Spell work either... that's pretty neat!

Starring Rolls is always a good choice. Those pastries look delicious!

The bored faces on RnRC are awesome! Hahaha!

OMG OLD KEY WEST!!!! :cloud9::love: We stayed here in June 2011 and I fell in love with everything about this resort. If you ever need to rent out points, please let me know! :rolleyes1

It's the best, I swear.

AND YES ONE DAY! I just want to beat him at it! ARGH.

Starring Rolls is the best! Usually I'm there for a cupcake, but their breakfast is good, too!

OKW IS AMAZING. And I will let you know. Matt's parents have a ton of points there and I know are hoping to rent out points down the line!

Thank you so much! OKW is a great place to check out. We love going there and catching a boat to DTD after a park. It's way better than riding the bus!

Hahaha, thanks, we're special people, clearly.

Yeah, it was just such an odd experience from a Disney CM. I've definitely had normal customer service types do that kind of thing, but never a CM in Disney. It just seemed weird!

I agree, going to DTD on a boat is the best way to go. It's way nicer than the buses... and let me tell you, we have QUITE an experience on a DTD bus in a future update.

Chapter 30: Raglan Road, I love you so, Raglan Rooooad.
Day Six: September 16th, 2013

After getting off the boat on the West Side, we spotted Disney Quest, and even though I was CONVINCED we'd stopped by there during our honeymoon, Matt insisted we never had.

file_zps296c3277.jpg

So we decided to just stop by and check it out for funsies.

We got inside and decided to play some SUPER random Jungle Cruise game that involved us shooting at these massive terrifying bugs.

file_zpsf8ad5d23.jpg

Needless to say, it was weird and random... but that being said, I DID think it was kind of neat that you do have the option to just go in there and play games on a rainy day. If I were in DTD and it was pouring out, I'd definitely go to Disney Quest to burn some time. I'd never actually PAY for it, but if it's included in my Annual Pass, I'll check it out.

We headed off towards D-Street, because I wanted to obviously continue to feed my Vinylmation obsession.

I have to say, Splitsville looked REALLY neat. That's another place I'd definitely check out on a rainy day!

file_zps44f927fc.jpg

These apples all were adorable.

file_zps19d3983a.jpg

Finally we got to D-Street!

file_zpsf00e93c3.jpg

And I was happy to see that they were still selling the September Haunted Mansion poster Vinylmation.

file_zpsd222dfc8.jpg

They were releasing an interesting "poster" series for 2013, with a new design for every month. There was a Vinylmation, an actual poster, and a pin for each month with a similar design. Obviously I needed the Haunted Mansion one because it was so neat, PLUS I have the Haunted Mansion Vinylmation collection at home that it would fit in perfectly with.

After I paid for my Vinylmation, I decided to trade away little Tigger and see what I'd pull from the mystery box.

file_zpsc1483c10.jpg

Aaaand I ended up getting a poopy Zooper Hero Koala Bear... I mean, he was kind of cute, but I definitely was not keeping him.

file_zps4c1230fe.jpg

We left D-Street and headed over towards Pleasure Island..

file_zps9bf90d94.jpg

file_zps9b8eed44.jpg

To one of our favorite restaurants, Raglan Road!

file_zpsd66d5451.jpg

file_zpsfd773cee.jpg

file_zps6278a0b6.jpg

We were meeting up with Danni and Johnny for some lunch, and they walked through the door right after we did. We checked in and were seated right in the middle area.

While we looked over the menu, we gave them their Haunted Mansion ornament gift, which Johnny opened...

file_zps9501554e.jpg

file_zps1ebce58f.jpg

I think they really liked it! It's always fun buying gifts for people when you know they'll like it, yay!

We put our orders in, and just caught up about all sorts of random stuff.

file_zpse04b2393.jpg

file_zpsc3172c89.jpg

I decided that this was the trip that I was going to order my darn Bailey's shake, and so I did! Danni and Johnny also joined me on this adventure, as well.

Our waiter brought out our drinks pretty quickly, and they were looking TASTY.

file_zps02074478.jpg

It was VERY good! Not too crazy heavy on the alcohol, it was the perfect mix of Bailey's and ice cream. I was happy with my choice of drink, that's for sure.

Our waiter also brought out the LOVELIEST BREAD EVER, my favorite Irish Soda Bread with the Guinness and brown sugar reduction..

file_zpsb7adfb34.jpg

file_zps53d42c93.jpg

Now the bad things...

As our meal went on, our waiter got progressively slower and slower in taking care of us, which was weird since it wasn't that busy. But our food came out and I was a happy lady!

I had gone with the Steak Sanger (as had Johnny). It was an open face steak sandwich, with grilled veggies on top, which was a totally new item for me... I also went with the onion rings as my side (not new, because they are SO GOOD).

Chapter 31: The slowest... waiter... ever.
Day Six: September 16th, 2013

Danni had gone with the Shepard's Pie, which you can never go wrong with!

file_zpsfab0516a.jpg

Matt went with the Lobster sandwich with onion rings, which is always a favorite of ours.

file_zps55aa3cc9.jpg

file_zps474d8ecc.jpg

The food was AMAZING as usual. I LOVED my Steak Sanger! The steak was cooked perfectly, the bread was perfect, the veggies were well-seasoned... and those onion rings! Don't get me started on their deliciousness.

We ALL really loved our food!

The only bummer was how long it took our waiter to clear our plates. This guy was just terrible. I mean, he was friendly enough, but he took forever. We finally were able to put in an order for dessert... in which Matt and I decided to split our FAVORITE DESSERT OF ALLLLLL DESSERTS IN THE HISTORY OF DESSERTS:

file_zps48ba99e6.jpg

file_zps88f5be10.jpg

That bread pudding... It never ceases to amaze me.

Now we were enjoying ourselves in conversation, but I swear we waited at least 15 minutes for our waiter to come back and check in on us/bring us our check. At this point I was EXTREMELY annoyed because I actually watched him stand and talk to one of his co-workers for at least 5 minutes about who knows what.. AKA, he wasn't busy and was just taking his sweet time chatting it up with his co-worker. It's one thing if you're busy, but an entirely different thing when you're just not doing your job.

I worked in customer service and the food/drink industry (I was a barista for 4 1/2 years), so I have a good understanding of how it all works. My tolerance is not high for when people are just straight up not doing their job and are socializing. There's a time and a place, and if you have a customer, you should be giving them your time.

Needless to say, once he came back over, he could tell we weren't really happy with his service. We still left him a tip (because the meal was fantastic aside from his service), but he didn't get a bigger one like we usually leave (I'm a big believer in leaving a great tip for fantastic food and service).

It's kind of weird because it seems like the service there is hit or miss. In 2012, Matt and I were VERY disappointed in the service there, but January, our waitress was great. This time, the dude stunk. But other than the unpredictable service, we LOVE Raglan Road and it's a must-do for us on every trip.

We stopped at the little Irish shop right outside and looked at the family pins. This one is my Mom's side!

file_zps9795aea6.jpg

My Mom's side of the family is VERY Irish... She is one of 13 kids (so that side of my family is MASSIVE), and they have a lot of pride in their last name.

We left there and I saw a huuuuuge amount of cell phone cases. My friend Rachel (okw19) wanted me to keep an eye out for an iPhone case for her, so I stopped here and took some photos... and then spotted this one that I knew she'd love!

file_zps4005a8e1.jpg

I texted her a few photos and she later told me she DEFINITELY wanted that one, so I figured I'd swing back later and pick it up since we were already near the Lego store.

file_zps3b3de0de.jpg

I snapped this photo and I love that the dragon is totally photobombing everyone, hahaha.

file_zps74aea04e.jpg

We headed to World of Disney for some shippityshipshopping.

file_zpsaf222a33.jpg

We had known that Jenn and her family were going to be at DTD today, but we didn't realize that we'd run into them at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique! They actually didn't see us, but I snapped this photo of the kids getting their makeovers, haha.

file_zps4ea21915.jpg

We walked around after that, because World of Disney is such an epic store with so much to look at!

file_zps3b068e6d.jpg

Matt decided to FINALLY try on the Buzz Lightyear hoodie he'd been eyeing since FOREVER.

file_zpsc845269a.jpg

file_zps4751eab0.jpg

He looked ridiculously adorable in it, as you can see from the photos above... AND there was a little button on the sleeve that you press and it makes laser sounds!!!

We're both 5 because that laser button alone convinced us that he needed that hoodie... along with the fact that I have the Woody one. We have since worn our hoodies together at work for Halloween and also on Christmas.

While we were looking at the hoodies, I also noticed these amazing Villains headbands they'd just come out with during our trip. I LOVE when Disney comes out with fun stuff like that!

file_zpsfb392dc2.jpg

While we were standing around, Jenn found us with Julia, who looked like an AMAZING princess! I had to get photos.

file_zps8661af67.jpg

file_zpscca20537.jpg

Jenn couldn't find Brandon and Sawyer but didn't want to leave Brynn, so she asked us to keep an eye on Julia while she went back inside, which wasn't an issue of course. We chatted with Julia, then Brandon and Sawyer found us as well. Sawyer made an ADORABLE Prince Charming.

file_zpsc8a289ca.jpg

file_zps57574074.jpg

Jenn came out again and was reunited with the fam, but Brynn was still finishing up, so Danni, Johnny, Matt and I all decided to pay for our stuff (we'd also picked up a round stuffed Piglet for my niece and Epcot 30 pins for ourselves) and headed over to Basin. We told them we'd meet up with them in a bit after we shopped.

file_zpsd59167f7.jpg

Ohhh Basin, how I LOVE thee.

file_zps6bc2abf0.jpg

file_zpsf7f02bad.jpg

I could stay in that store for hours, seriously.

file_zpsd9624558.jpg

file_zpsc6bc0130.jpg

In fact, I'm heading to Vegas next week for our annual company trip, and there is a Basin White on the strip! I've already made sure that I will be making my way on over there to stock up on some lovely shampoo/conditioner bars!

Anyway, while we were at Basin, we all washed our hands with the shea sugar hand scrub, and it left our hands feeling smooth like a baby's bottom. YEP, I went there.

file_zps2ffbb0ac.jpg

Next, we finish our afternoon in Downtown Disney, then leave property for my first time ever... and get wicked lost.

Continued in next post

Ugghh...sorry your service was craptastic. I know from your previous TRs how much you like Raglan Rd. (every time I see the bread pudding in your pics I swear we are going to lunch there on our next trip) and it's always such a bummer when a place you love to eat lets you down! Hopefully next time you'll have a good server.

Oh World of Disney how I could wander your many confusing rooms for hours! I love Matt's hoodie and that you have the Woody one...too cute!

I will definitely be checking out Basin this time. Somehow I always end up skipping over it and then kicking myself later. I think the way we enter DTD (usually from the West Side boat dock from OKW) makes it outside my line of vision and therefore I forget. Or....it could just be my laser-like focus on Ghirardelli that makes everything else fade into the background (oh cookie-bottom sundae, why have thou abandoned us?)

Joben (my DH and another avid reader of your TRs) just sent me a message via Skype asking me what the ice cream place is called in France (that I'm now obsessed with) because he wanted to mention it when he commented on your TR. I told him I was already in the midst of doing so (apparently we are both slacking due to the 2 PM doldrums and catching up on our DIS subscriptions while at work) and that I would mention it.

Anywho, I'm sure you know but if you haven't yet, you need to check out L'Artisan des Glaces. Two words -Croque Glace. Just do it.

OMG I was in Vegas last weekend and went to the Basin inside Miracle Mile! I had remembered how you said this place was awesome, so I dragged my bf in there and came out with all the essentials (and he bought some stuff too lol). I don't think it's as large but the staff there is amazing!

In one of your previous TRs you said the shampoo/conditioner bars were magicial..boy you weren't lying! Thanks for the recommendation.

Raglan Road is a fantastic place to eat. Bites your service wasn't so good!

I see tickers in your signature!! Did I miss them before?!?
You will be in DL when I am in WDW lol!

I do hope to one day check out Disney Quest if for no other reason than the completest in me to see and do everything. But it's not really at or near the top of that list just yet. But then, I'm not an arcade type. Splitsville does sound cool though. I guess I'm more of a "do" as opposed to "pretend to do" type which probably explains why I'm not a great fan of simulator rides.

I was thinking the same thing and I wasn't even there but from the first photos Raglan didn't look busy at all. Not good waiter boy. At least the food was good I guess. So thumbs up AND thumbs down.

OMG that's too funny that you ran into Jenn and team and they didn't even know it.

OOOOOOOO Off Property. This should be... Interesting!!!!

Somehow I missed an update--must have been when I wasn't on much since WE WERE AT DISNEY! Sorry-just had to get that out of my system. From readin your TRs I knew to be prepared for the tour groups in January--thanks for the heads up!! :thumbsup2

Anyway--we've never been to OKW but your pictures are beautiful! I think it's definitely a place I could stay and be happy! I can see why it's your "home"!

What the what was up with the bus driver? That is crazy! I feel for Matt--I hate when you get stuck in those situations. I never understand how the other person doesn't pick up on the uncomfortable body language.....

Matt's hair!! The bored faces!! Another ride photo I love!!

All the pics from raglan road look delicious!! That shepards pie is killing me! We may have to check that oh sometime!

I love the villian ears! Our youngest is very into malifcent, lady tremaine, drizella and Anastasia right now. We saw a girl going into the park one night of our trip totally dressed like malificent and Madison just stared at her. I thought she'd like those ears but she didn't want any. Kids!

What a great time at dtd!! I have never been to Disney Quest, I'm sure I'll head over there sometime in the future, but it's never been my main point of interest lol.

That koala's cute, but definitely not a keeper! Lol.

Awwe, how awesome that you ran into/met up with Jen & the fam again, you guys certainly saw a lot of each other this trip, the kids look adorable!!

Yay Basin!! I'm so sad their lotion is so expensive, and the toner doesn't come in bigger bottles! I bought one in Dec, and it's pretty much gone now! :(

I just totally binged on your TR and now I'm all caught up! Vinalymation seems pretty fascinating. I always look at them in the stores but I have never bought one before. I just might next time. One question though, what is up with the all solid black ones? I think I saw those in one of your collection shots.

Beach club looks soooo gorgeous. I love that you could see SSE from your room!

That sucks that you had so much trouble with your MB's. Ugh, I totally would have been fed up at 1:00 in the am too. Luckily when I was there in October (staying at Movies) my MB worked fine. I guess they had some glitches worked out by then!

Mmmm the bread pudding and shepard's pie look soo delish.

Looking forward to next update! :goodvibes

Loving this report so far :goodvibes I'm glad I'm not the only one who lives odd ibuprofen at Disney. I literally had to take it at night before bed because I was waking up in the middle of the night from leg cramps.

Looks like you had a good time at DTD in spite of the poor service. The food looked wonderful. We've never eaten at Raglan Road.

Fun time shopping. DS and I have the Samsung Galaxy phones, though and really wished Disney had a better selection of android cases. Very disappointing for us.

The kids looked so cute all fixed up.

I was trying to remember if I'd ever been to DQ.If so, it was years and years ago (like when they charged $25 for the day), and must not have been impressed as I have never had the urge to check it out the past 10 years. :rolleyes1

Looking forward to reading about the rest of your evening.

Dani my DW pretty much summed it up so let me just say great update. oh I loved the dead pan photo on the ride, you guys are so funny

This is going to sound super strange Dani, but I totally had a dream with you in it the other night! I don't know why that happened, as I usually only dream about my family, or work, or people I know in real life, ya know? But anyways, I dreamed that you told me you were pregnant. I was really, really happy for you and Matt, and thought you would have the luckiest kid ever. :rotfl2:

I somehow got super behind over here! Silly me. I'm loving all these EPCOT resort pictures, as usual!

Looks like a fun morning at DHS! I'm glad y'all finally got to see One Man's Dream! That exhibit really is so inspiring, huh?

The non-Disney vinylmation really confuse me, to be honest. Like what is the point of those? Koalas are cool, but just super random in the context of a Disney collection. Hahah.

Glad y'all had a nice lunch despite the crazy slow service! I really need to make it over there one of these days!

Those caramel apple...yum! I bought one for the first time on my last trip and now I'm hooked. I will gladly shell out $10 for an apple because Disneyeconomics knows no logic!?!?:confused3

Raglan roads looks pretty tasty too, you're making me hungry tonight! I will get my fill of tasty food tomorrow, Seahawks play off food! I really can't call myself a true 12th man or anything but I'll watch the game....and eat.popcorn::

And Matt will wear a sweatshirt that makes laser noises, that is so awesome!! I hope we get to see the woody and buzz sweatshirts in action sometime in a future report.

Good to know about the shampoo bars at Basin...I have looked at those for years, and never bought anything...now I know to give them a try!!

Sorry your service was slow...that is too bad he was busy chatting with his co-workers...we have never eaten there...add another restaurant to our list!
