Touring Experts - need your opinion

We are spending Dec 18-25 at WDW staying at VWL. Self, DH, DD13, DS9 5th trip with kids.

We only have 3 days left on our hopper passes and we have 2 days at Universal.

My question is: Should we Park Hop at mid day? We have in the past but DH is complaining that it takes too much time and we want to go with a more relaxed plan - not commando like we have in the past.

Here's my current plan:

Sunday - EE MK
With brunch at Chef Mickey, Dinner back at Artist Point and then return for the parade and Wishes.

Monday - Universal

Tuesday - EE MGM
With lunch on the boardwalk afternoon in EPCOT back to MGM for Fantasmic dinner package

Wednesday - NO parks
Hoop Dee Doo dinner

Thursday - Universal

Friday (Christmas Eve) - EE AK
Morning at AK and then to Epcot for afternoon and evening CP pkg.


Would it be better to switch to MGM on Sunday afternoon and evening? Will MK be packed on this Sunday before Christmas? We could do Wishes on Tuesday night.

Sorry for the long post - I need to start making PS next week and want to make it relaxing as we can given that it's the week before Christmas.

I think your plan sounds just fine as is. I wouldn't change a thing!

Sometimes we don't always park hop . Really depends on what our mood is like. We've gone whole trips w/o park hopping, mostly because DH doesn't like it too much either. So if it's quiet, it's just a thought.
Otherwise, everything looks fine.
