Is it possible to pay for a backstage tour at time of booking? I want to suprise my parents with the hidden treasures of world showcase tour

I'm 99.9% certain that full payment is required at the time of booking anyway, so you should be fine. I believe there is then a 48 hour cancel policy for a full refund. Good luck!!
