Tour company recommendations

We are moving accross the country this summer, with 3 kids in tow. :guilty: One of the "selling features" was the fact that we could drive to Disneyland in 2 days (it takes approx 35 hours from here...or 3 days of straight driving) :teeth: . Well, that part of the "sales pitch" went over really well, to the point that the kids now want to do a tour of LA amongst other things. So if anyone has had good experiences with tour companies, I am looking for a recommendation. I googled it and there are tons to choose from. The kids are (will be) 1, 9 and 12 and seeing the "HOLLYWOOD" sign is a must  . We would drive up from Anahiem so we don't necessarily need a company that will pick us up at the hotel in DL. Thanks. :sunny:

I have never been on a tour but I notice that Tony the limo king seems to get a lot of good reviews on the message board.

I have found that the Frommer's "Los Angeles" book has several good driving tours included that you could do on your own, which in my opinion is better. That way you can stop and really explore things YOU want to explore--plus save money! :thumbsup2
