It's been a while since I've posted or even visited the site much since it's a bit like torture when there is no chance of a trip. However, I have been visiting the past week or so because . . . I get to go to Disneyland!:banana:

It will be my husband and I arriving on the evening of September 26th, going to the parks the 27-29 and leaving on the 30th to head back to spend the night in Vegas then on home the next day.

Our last trip was in August of '09 and I was hoping to get some input on a couple of things I'e been wondering about after reading some threads.

1. How much of a mess is DCA in? Does it feel like it is a construction zone or is it still fun to go to? I really enjoyed it in the past but wonder what it is like with Carsland being built and I'm not sure what else they are doing.

2. Where exactly is Carsland being built? What is it replacing?

3. I was looking at the Disneyland website for tickets and wondered if you get the etickets how that works once you get to the parks? Do you carry around a piece of paper for the whole trip or do they trade it for a normal looking ticket so you can do fast pass ect?

4. Is TSMM still a long wait? It was 40 plus minutes and sometimes over an hour when we were there.

5. Is there any new stuff that I might not know about that is cool. I do know about World of Color and the Little Mermaid ride and that there is something new about Star Tours although what is different about it I don't know.

I am totally excited about getting to go back to Disneyland. It is my 'happy place' and I am excited about getting to do it with just my hubby and no kids. :cool1:

Cars land is in behind Tower of Terror...I think the old parking lot if I remember right. TSMM still has long lines. You Change the etickets right at the gates when you enter and they give you a regular ticket. And yes Star Tours is new but I have not been to the parks since it opened....I'm excited to ride it in December. Have a great trip!
