So, I don't see any excursions listed for Tortola...what is there to see and do? And will DCL eventually have Tortola excursions?
Thanks
I hope they hurry up. Last time we did an island tour and felt we didn't get to see much. I want to go to The Baths this time. Looks so nice!
Thank you! I can't wait to see what they offer. I had read about the baths, but we are going with a group with a wide age range and I don't think the older part of the group could do the hike...even though they sound super cool. I just didn't see much else to do there and was hoping that there would be some excursions to give us an idea.
What date will you be in Tortola? We are looking to fill a private charter to the Baths with entry from the water, so no steep hill. The date is January 19, 2016.
We are using Patouche Charters. They have been given good reviews here and on some other boards.
If anyone is interested in joining us on January 19, 2016 please send me a private message.
We will be on the April 23rd cruise to Tortola. It's our first cruise ever! I am trying to do research and I came across the Baths...looks amazing. I will have a 6&8 year old with me. Is it something that's appropriate for that age level?
I know what you mean. I'm a little nervous to book outside excursions.Following!
I have done several land-based vacations to the BVI and am so stoked for Tortola. The BVI are much quieter and more old-carribbean than St. Thomas.
There are many other things to do besides the Baths, although these are wonderful too, but I imagine very crowded if DCL is doing a port excursion there. It is on Virgin Gorda, next door to Tortola. Tortola itself has more development than the other islands but is the least interesting IMO.
