Has anyone sailed to Tortola on a Disney cruise? We are headed there next week and just learned today that the excursion we had booked has been cancelled. We are wondering if there are any activities/shopping near where the ship will dock? Or if we need to try to find another excursion if we want to see any sights. Thanks!

Yes, there are stores near the dock and you can also walk to town where there is a local/craft market and some shops. You can also catch a taxi to a beach or take a trolley tour of the island where the ship docks.

Very little and no. Other than a handful of vendor/shops at the port, there's really not much else. You can walk to Pussers from there and you'll go by a lot of vendors, but not much else right near the ship.

If you have the money and the desire, there is a shopper on board who will help you get discounts at some of the shops at the pier. But diamonds are expensive, even if they are discounted, so bring an empty credit card, if you're inclined that way.

I'd be interested to know what you ended up doing or have any advice? One of our stops on our next DCL cruise is Tortola. We were looking at the sailing excursion on the red ship (el dorado I think?).
