We are going the week after Thanksgiving and the average temp is 70s. I am going to make my DH, DS and myself Christmas shirts but I am torn on if I should make them long sleeved or short sleeved. My only reason for going with the long sleeved shirt is because we are from Montana and if we want to wear them during Christmas time here then long sleeve is what is needed. What does everyone think?

Personally, I would lean towards short sleeves, with a layer over for morning and evening. *I* would be uncomfortably warm in long sleeves at 70+ degrees...but I hate being hot.

Short sleeves, then take long sleeves you can wear under them if you need to.

70 is going to feel wonderful to you during the day.

I'd go with short sleeves, and then layer a long sleeve under it if needed. And then bring something to layer over for when the sun isn't up yet or goes down. I find that it gets quite chilly at nights, and during that time, nighttime comes early!

Coming from Colorado I NEVER wear sleeves at Disneyland. Oh, occasionally I will need a jacket over my shirt but I could not imagine wearing long sleeves during the day.

If you are going to be inside for Christmas at home, short sleeves should work, right? If not, make them big and layer them.

Go all out and make them with zip off sleeves. Best of both worlds! This way you will be prepared for whatever god sends your way:)

This is exactly what we do but I really like the layered look (long sleeve under short sleeved shirt).

Last x-mas in addition to short sleeved shirts I made hooded sweatshirts for each of my boys. I went with santa mickey. They loved them. I was able to get solid color sweatshirts and t's for dirt cheap at Walmart. I think the shirts were $3.88 and the sweatshirts were $5. I bought patches from TheAppliquePatch on Etsy. Jan was awesome and even made custom designs for us.

Too funny! I am going at the exact same time and we are from Whistler, BC Canada so wondering the exact same thing! I was thinking maybe hoodies? Or Ts with sweaters?....
Oh I am so torn! We have used a gal on etsy to make our shirts in the past but I am torn this time too!
