Top ten amusement parks in America 2021

Been to alot of the ones mentioned and have to say..Sea World wouldn't have even made the list :rolleyes1 If you're a coaster enthusiast, Cedar Point is absolutely outstanding. Had a blast there :love:The lodging accomodations are severely lacking but the coasters made up for it

I found it interesting that seaworld Orlando was #1
Me too. It seems to me that it would be in the top 10 of the least popular amusement park. You will never convince me that Seaworld beat out Magic Kingdom unless they are measuring the tip ten most exciting coasters and even then wouldn't make number one.

I live about 20 minutes away from Cedar Point and could care less about going there. If you’re into roller coasters it’s good though. I’d rather fly 2 hours and go to WDW.
Same. I'm not a big coaster person, but I do enjoy the themed ones at WDW as well as the numerous slow rides and other themed rides, shows and attractions.

I haven’t been to any of those except Knott’s, and I’d put it near the bottom of the list of ones I’ve been to. I’m surprised at this list.

I’m shocked that Kings Island beat out its sister park, Cedar Point. Both are owned by the same company, Cedar Fair. I have friends who own passes to get into both parks. They go to Kings Island nearly every weekend. However, they look forward to their infrequent trips, five hours north, to Cedar Point.

We actually did go to Knotts one time and still had a good time. Never went back though. We went during presidents week in February. When we pulled into the parking lot there was a total of 4 cars parked there. We thought great it won't be crowded. Wrong. Every single YMCA / Boys and Girls Club in Los Angeles and Orange County were there that day. The school bus parking lot was packed with busses. Once they left though in the mid afternoon the place was deserted. It felt like a Horror Sci Fi movie set. :)

Sounds like a click bait article that was just fabricated by the reporter. Knotts is a dump compared to Disneyland. There is a reason you can buy a season pass there for less than the price of a one day ticket at Disneyland.

No, I believe the results of the poll. It’s just a compilation of responses from people who bothered to answer and likely named their local or favorite park as #1.

These polls are as accurate as a broken calculator.

One thing about the poll - it could be a sign that Floridians and Californians are pissed off about the price increases and service/attraction availability in their parks. Sea World may have been #1 b/c I know (from my Florida family) that they treated APs the best the last year...

PS - I'd never have Sea World #1 - although I do think Busch Gardens Williamsburg deserves a spot on the list from that brand...

Agreed. Just like car dealerships. Toyota dealerships can get away with treating you like garbage and have a take it or leave it attitude because their cars in such high demand. Disneyland doesn't need to offer cut rate annual passes and will get away with passes exceeding $2,500 per year if and when they are ever offered again.

I hated Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It was so boring, half the rides were down whenever we wanted to ride, and the park was a confusing layout, not efficient at all.

Sorry to hear that - we've always had most everything open and running when we've been...and it's a beautiful park, and even more beautiful at Xmas time (when, to be fair, they don't run all the rides due to weather:))...

I guess I was just there on a bad day. I *did* love the Curse of Darkastle. That was awesome!

First.. USA today polls bug me, our city brags rated #1 most fun small town by Rand McNally and USA today. ... I am really really unsure who voted in this poll this small town I live in is great but #1 really lol. ( I live in SE Florida)

The people who voted in this obviously likes coasters and or are adults. In the top 10 are 3 Busch parks known for thrill rides and adult entertainment such as food and beer festivals.
