I'm watching it again. Why is it that none of the chefs appear to give Carla enough credit? At least it's edited that way. And then Dale saying he wasn't going to let her "anywhere" near my food". What was that about? Granted, she can fail on occasion, but I think this season, she's been cooking true to herself and she's ROCKIN'!

The "real chefs" don't respect her. She cooks from her heart and not her gut.

As long as she's not cooking heart or gut (or fish or any organ meat ), I'd love to eat what she's cookin. But yeah, this was a sad episode. It's only getting really hard now to watch them go. I personally would have sent Tiffany or Dale home based on comments and editing. Buuut, I didn't try the food.

I thought for sure that Dale was going to go ... even though Fabio was laying the accent on pretty thick trying to cover his bad dish.

OH! And lest we forget that Dale used a purchased bun! In seasons past, that was a huge mark against other chefs for not making their own no matter what the time constraints were. It wasn't even mentioned this time.

Me too. I was sooooo hoping it would be down to Carla, Fabio & Richard. I would have been happy with ANY of them winning.

Carla was freaking out tonight in the kitchen. I think Dale was afraid she might knock over one of his dishes. He was already smarting from last week. She even gave him credit that she almost left one of the pies out of the oven and he asked what that extra dough was.

She's really great with saucy, soupy dishes. She really knows how to meld the flavors together in those.

She is also one of the few chefs who can actually make great desserts.


I was surprised Dale didn't get sent home. Even Jimmy Fallon said that salting was so basic.

so who is your #3? I am torn between Antonia and Angelo. I would like to see Angelo make it to the final 3 because he tried SO HARD in his season but was SO SICK. He's snotty, but I still like him. Antonia has also been growing on me. I did not like her in her season but I am starting to like her now. Right now Angelo still has the edge. Dale is on my "crap list" and I just don't have any feeling good feelings about Tiffany or Michael.

I was so happy Carla then bam Fabio gets sent packing. Seems like it should have been Dale for serving a way to salty dish but then I also think even though I like Fabio he should be able to make a great tasting burger. Heck even I can make a good burger and I'm not a professional chef (or even that great a cook ).

Dale, Tiffany and Mike can go anytime. I don't really dislike them but I don't love them either (although I did like Dale this season and couldn't stand him on his season).

I'm really pulling for Carla to win.

I couldn't have said it any better. Love Carla and I have been wanting to see her, Richard, and Fabio in the final 3. With Fabio out and after last night, no way do I want to see Dale in the final 3.

Disappointed that Fabio's gone instead of Dale, since, while his cheese sauce for the burger was 'different', it didn't seem bad or offensive. Unfortunately, with Dale winning so frequently - has Angelo won at all this season? - there's a strong possibility of a Carla/Richard/Dale finale.

I, too, thought Dale would go; even I, a lousy cook, know better than to serve too much salt! And he "forgot" that his pretzel bread had rock salt on it???? Please.

I was hoping that they would cut Fabio some slack since they don't have hamburgers in Italy! (Or at least not often. They do have McDonald's though - and they serve fried shrimp there!)
