Top Chef All Stars starts 12/1/10! No ADVANCE Spoilers!

I can't stand Mike. I didn't like him the first time around I can't stand him this time.

Mike ~ I think his actions are so egregious I think he should be sent home for plagerism. I was hoping someone said something at judge's table. I think if Mike won the elimination challenge either Richard or Antonia would have gone nuts and said something. Didn't someone get sent home for cooking someone elses dish oh wait I think that was Next Food Network Star.

The closest TC had was Pea Gate.

Dale ~ I do think that Dale was nicer and has matured this season. I was glad he said that he didn't like himself last time but now he does. Seems like Dale already won.

:thumbsup2

Hmmm... I must be the only person who likes Tiffany. At this point, I think I'm actually cheering for Antonia. That is subject to change.

I like Richard (and I love that he said he was going to invite Fabio along on his trip!) but his facial expressions bug me.

Yeah, it was Eddie on season five of TNFNS. He cooked a dish that he said was a Paula Deen recipe and the judges hated it. He wasn't really sent home for using her recipe... it was because the judges hated it and he acted like a total jerk to Melissa.

I can not stand Mike. He KNOWS he is not in league with Richard. He said before that Richard gave too much knowledge away, and if anyone listened they would win. He is a nasty snake.

I was sorry to see Dale go. I really was. He may be an angry ******* but he was a stellar chef. I hope the final three are Richard, Carla and Antonia.

Me, too. Maybe being too close to that liquid nitrogen is freezing his face into funny expressions? :upsidedow

Yes, that was that episode where he helped Antonia use the pressure cooker for the beef tongue and she almost won. Richard wasn't even in the top 3 that night.

But, there is a difference in freely helping and giving away info, because he wants someone to be at their best so he can compete & win fairly versus someone stealing his knowledge & ideas.

I'm hoping that the top three this year are Carla, Richard, and Antonia. I've been very dissapointed with who's been eliminated these last few weeks.

Mike mike mike... I USED to like you. but you messed with my Blaise and now you're gonna get BURNED.

Antonia has been surprisingly solid all season. It should be Blaise, Antonia and Carla at the end.

I have liked some chefs this season that I really didn't like before. Antonia and Dale have seemed much more likeable this year than before.

Mike is just a snake and needs to leave sooner rather than later. I am hoping Richard wins the whole thing. I don't remember how I felt about him on his season, but I have enjoyed him this time around. I loved the filet-o fish story he told!

I like Tiffany also but she seems to be making a lot of mistakes lately. At this point I like Tiffany, Antonia and Richard. I guess that makes it pretty clear who I don't like;)

Still can't stand Antonia...... too much of that catty nice the face witch behind your back crap. Hope it bites her in the catoot next week :wizard::wizard::wizard:

Mike oh Mike weren't you ever taught that stealing was wrong :sad2:

Blaize is turning into the "mr. foam" of Marcel - hope he finds another way to incorporate his skills with a little less nitrogen.

At this point I'm hoping Carla wins it all :goodvibes

Wasn't expecting that!

I like that they did that! I'm not all for changing the rules just for sympathy, but this was a case where they ALL did well and sending somoene home for minutia would have been icky. ;)

I don't know about anyone else, but I was actually not impressed by Richard's attitude this episode. Knocking the others and their creativity (or lack there-of in his eyes) in the first challenge and them grimacing when he didn't win the final and others were being chosen to go to the finals before him. Just didn't look like good sportsmanship to me which I felt he's had all the way through until now. :confused3

I only saw the ending, I am watching the rest of it now on the repeat of it and I agree with you. I am a big Richard fan, but he just seems like a jerk tonight.

I do like that what they did, I assume they are going to eliminate 2 next week before the finale.

Especially when you just had the foods with their loved ones and raved over their foods. It would have really been in bad form to then nitpic one dish.

I thought he made the one face they did a close-up on because it was Mike. Remember Mike stole his recipe idea last episode's quickfire. Now, he made his grandma's gnocci recipe. I think Richard has a little sensitivity now to Mike winning with other people's recipes.

As for snarking on Carla, didn't he realize Carla would probably win when he saw who the judge was? An owner of a sustainable farm of natural & organic foods? :confused3 She's the only one who used fresh ingredients and kept them as natural as possible. :thumbsup2

Oh yes, I do remmeber that. That was uncool on EVERY level. :sad2: The problem I have with him making a face about it THIS time though is A: it was about family this episode, and B: both Fabio (before who's his best bud) and Tiffany this time, made things they grew up eating and/or that their moms or grandmas made. So to me, it was hypocritical to pish-posh this time. Though I'm CERTAIN he's still raw over the stealing as he should be. Were it me, in that episode where he took the idea from Richard, not only would I have given half of the winnings to Richard, I would have given Antonia the otehr half becuase she truly made the BEST food that challenge and just missed 1 plate. So often, they only plate 1 plate so it was an easy mistake to make in a pinch. I wouldn't have felt like I truly earned that money. PLUS, it may be a competition, but it's a small world and making friends amongst your peers goes FAR beyond the game in real life. Even financially.

But hey, that's my take. ;) I think we can all watch the same show and get entirely differnt takes. :)

Oh TOTALLY! If they had all known who the judge was going to be, I bet they would have tailored their dishes differntly. Well, Maybe Antonia and Richard would have. Mike with that sludge? Probably not. What made him think cheese and hot dog buns would be tasty, even in a dog bowl?

That's what I like about discussing these reality TV shows here. We share different views or observations and bring up stuff we might have seen and passed by, forgot about, agree with, or bring up totally different, opposing views that make us go :scratchin , , :thumbsup2

I think the reason he grimaced is because he always panics that his is the worst and he's going home--so when they announced other names first, he figured he was out of the finale :confused3

I have to say I was shocked he didn't win, especially when Tom said he was stealing Richard's sea bean recipe.
