Meh. She's not my favorite. I really liked her early on, but lately I find her to be annoying. She's so... hyper.

I always want to tell her to "just breathe"

The reason I am a Carla fan is that in many cases I would in many cases like to try her food. That pot pie was seriously the yummiest thing I've seen on the show probably ever - she just hit that out of the park

Yes, I looked at the menu for one of Tom Colicchio's restaurants here, and frankly I wouldn't eat most of the stuff.

when Anthony Bourdain said Carla should have used a protein like salmon I wish Carla stood up for herself and said "I wanted to use Salmon, it would have complimented my dish perfectly but Target didn't have salmon. "

Antoinia is getting on my nerves. I think she is 2 faced. Smile to your face tear you up behind your back.

Richard~ I have always been a fan but I have been underwhelmed by him I'm sorry to say. He better kick it up or he'll be gone.

The last three I would like would be Dale, Richard and Carla.

I just watched the episode last night. I was so sad to see Angelo go. I really liked him this season. If I remember right, didn't he have a fiance from Russia? I thought he said something about it last season about how he only met her a couple of times but they talk on the phone a lot? I can't remember. Anyway, it looked like Mike felt responsible since he said Angelo's dish needed salt.

I think the final 3 will be Dale, Richard and Carla.

He actually said it's missing something and it's too thick. Angelo interpreted that to oversalting. He never corrected the thickness and the judges slammed him on that, particularly Padma.

Well, we did figure a page ago that he had the most wins of ALL the chefs this season. It looked pretty good for him.

But, Dale does tend to be up & down, like Carla. I guess his was worse than Carla's tonight.

What's with Marcel? Did he purposely sabotage Tiffany? How can he over cook shrimp and not know it. I really thought she was going home.

Poor Carla. She has the worst luck getting sous-chefs. Casey telling her what to do, and she makes that sous vide for her final instead of her usual stuff. And this time Tre acts like he had a lobotomy, not knowing all that stuff to be of any help at all.

On the one hand, it doesn't surprise me. For his finals when they were told they were going to Thailand, he didn't bother to come up to Chinatown to check things out like wok cooking. He seems to only narrowly know what he knows and can do that well. No authentic risotto, no Chinese/Thai wok cooking, no Southern cooking.

I was reading Bourdain's blog from last week and rolled when I got to this part where he described the exact moment that Angelo lost his will, and it was in the challenge w/ the Muppets:


"From the first second he looked into those three sets of pitiless, googly eyes, he was a defeated man. He had seen the Beast. And it was brightly-colored and fuzzy. "

I think I've seen that beast, many times.

I really think Tiffany should have gone home. Dale has had a lot of good dishes this season. I can't believe that I actually liked him this season because before that I couldn't stand him.

I was very relieved it wasn't Carla but she needs to kick it up some.

Mike I didn't care for his first season and I don't care for him this season. If you can't win with your own cooking and idea's then you need to go.

Dale's "a better person" than he was in his season??? I couldn't stand him this time - he was SO obnoxious! Of course, that could have been the editing, but he always seemed to have something nasty to say about everybody. I'm glad he's gone.

And I'm glad that Richard won.

I was rolling when she said they were going to revoke his NAACP card .

Ugg. I hope that Carla can turn things around. She is hanging on by her fingernails. I hope she takes her quote: "I cooked with my ego and not my heart." to heart. Because when she cooks from her heart she can't be beat!

Mike ~ I think his actions are so egregious I think he should be sent home for plagerism. I was hoping someone said something at judge's table. I think if Mike won the elimination challenge either Richard or Antonia would have gone nuts and said something. Didn't someone get sent home for cooking someone elses dish oh wait I think that was Next Food Network Star.

Dale ~ I do think that Dale was nicer and has matured this season. I was glad he said that he didn't like himself last time but now he does. Seems like Dale already won.
