And of course, I mean "evil" in the nicest possible way :-)

5) I find myself checking the board before work, after work, before dinner, after dinner, and before I go to sleep.
4) I find myself starting dinner conversations with lines like, "Honey, can you believe Woodysroundup wants to sell his Wilderness Lodge points?" Of course, that is met with a blank stare.
3) I have calculated and recalculated the number of points required to stay for everything ranging from one night.....to an entire year!
2) I haven't even taken my first trip, and I am already thinking about adding on more points.
1) My first trip is over a year away, and I can't stop obsessing over it!

Actually- Woody'sRoundup may sell her AKV points- possibly to buy WL points. How do I know that? I am sick too:lmao:
Not exactly stimulating dinner convo- (unless both parties are DVC obsessed Dissers)

Just wait until you start getting close to ADR time. DH was in Europe for 10 days and when he would call, what did we talk about. Do you want to try to go Boma this trip? We should coordinate it with a AK visit. :thumbsup2

Now DH lurks, some of the threads I don't bring up because he just :sad2: . He's a big WDW/DVC fan but can do without some of the more "over the top" threads. If he sees something and brings it up, well it's fair game. Though he did get a good laugh about the maids in the brown uniforms at BCV. :rotfl2:

Welcome to the club.:woohoo:

Yes I can understand what you are talking about. My DH is now starting to say. " I'm a Disboard widower!!" Before Disboards it was " I'm a PTA widower!" I just laugh and go back to the post I was reading.

Yah, it scares me when I see DH reading on the boards :scared1: I just hope he isn't reading my 'want to add-on AKV or VWL or CRV threads'.

I also have to watch myself with I'm typing emails that I don't us DH, DD12, etc. Luckily DH can follow me when I'm in my full DIS acronym speak. Like when I want to... drive to the TTC during MK EMH for our ADR at CP. :upsidedow

OMG!! I couldn't agree more!! :lmao: :lmao: My DH thinks I've cracked because I'm always talking about the disboards. :rotfl:  :rotfl2: :cool1: I haven't even passed ROFR & I'm already planning my Dec. '09 trip. :goodvibes

My wife just rolls her eyes. (She's forever starting to talk to me from the kitchen, thinking I'm in the den with the TV, only to find me back here...always on the Disboards!)

Oh well, it could be worse! At least it's a relatively clean addiction!

When we first joined DVC, I joined the boards to learn more info, but I only would visit the DVC section. The biggest mistake I ever made was venturing off the DVC section, and onto all the other boards. Now I spend no less than an hour a day on this thing:rotfl:

For years I have told DH that if Disney is my worst addiction, he's a pretty lucky guy. :rotfl: Actually, he agrees.

I'm somewhat fortunate. My wife discovered the DISboards when we where preparing for a cruise on the Wonder back in 05. She showed me a post one day when I was in her office and the she pointed to her username "dvcersfromva" and said in the cutest most innocent little voice "I'm earning my ears".

I lurked for a while... posted a couple times under her username and at some point decided I needed my own identity. Well DW hasen't posted for quite a while and I think her post count is like 50 or 60 posts. These days, every once in a while, I'll get "I see how many posts you have... you're sick".

I think she understands though. :)

Great thread OP! Welcome to the sickness ;) .

I am always surprised to see men on these boards. I don't know why, I hope I am not a sexist!!:rotfl2:

My DH says," are you on that computer again?!" He is not happy. I find out things that benefit me in other areas of life. When ever I do, I am sure to tell him.;)

At least this is an innocent and fun addiction!! :goodvibes DH (ScubaD) would see me on this and peek over my shoulder and now he has his own user name and is on here ALMOST as much as me (not quite, though! ;) ) He's a bit more of a lurker than a poster. We enjoy talking about what we read on here as our DD22 and DS19 just shake their heads at us!

Oh my goodness - this description was so much like me... the first few times I ventured off the DVC pages was kind of like when I was back in pre-school and we got to venture out to the playground for recess - there was so much more fun to be had! An hour a day is an understatement for me! My DW just doesn't get it. Oh well.

Hi, my name is Angela and I'm a DIS-ney-holic! Now when my DH works overtime he says it's to support my habit...more points!
