Took a Survey on Beach Bash Event...Interesting question!

Received an invite to participate in a survey which included questions on the Beach Bash Event. For the most part is was standard stuff asking if we enjoyed it and would be willing to participate if it was offered again. However, there was one question that got my attention. It was asking about if we would be more interested in an after hours event that was in a theme park instead. To which I replied we would be more interested in a theme park party. Anyone else get the survey?

Yes, I never get anything from DVC and did get this email. I am hoping it means they finally fixed the non email problem. We loved the Beach Bash.

Yes, I told them we really enjoyed the party and the CM's were great, but I would love to have an after hours event at MK.

I too liked that question. I wonder what the cost difference is between keeping a park open extra hours versus a waterpark open extra hours.

I would love a theme park open extra because although I loved the beach party, I was actually freezing most of the night, so only my husband and son really fully enjoyed themselves while I shivered waiting for them to have their fill.

I wouldn't be against a partial theme park event, either.

I followed @DisneylandToday on Twitter for my California trip last summer, as they had a weekly giveaway at some location in the park. They wound up having a limited attendance, 2 hour evening EMH in Tomorrowland (they don't have evening EMH in DL) with the rides and some different characters to meet (Star Wars Mickey and Goofy)

Perhaps the DVC WDW crowd would be too big for a partial park EMH, but those sort of limited, extra events can be a lot of fun!

Yes, mine had the resort preference on it as well. I said that we had no interest in a resort option. I have to think that most people that take the survey will prefer the theme park option. I could see them doing something like the old e-ticket nights. It could be limited to DVC members and could cost an additional fee. I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more for an after hours party at one of the parks as long as they limit the capacity.
