My DD is 14 and she's bound and determined to get tons of autographs when we go in March. I think she is too old for autographs but this is her first time going there. What does everyone think? Is she too old for autographs? Are there alot of teenagers getting autographs?

Any feedback will be helpful

You're never too old for autographs! I get them and I'm 19! I also see so many adults in line for autographs and photos.

i'm 29!i am gonna collect autographs this time to put next to the characters in my scrapbook :earsgirl:
I say you are never too old to do anything in disney

My kids were 13 and 16 on our last trip and they had a ball getting autographs and pictures with the characters. This is DISNEY WORLD we're talking about! Too old? No such thing!! :earsgirl: :earsboy:

We took my Mother in Law last year, she collected autographs and she was 60.

Haha :rotfl2:
That's the great thing about Disney, you're never too old for anything! I'm pretty sure when I was that age I still did the autograph thing. Nothin wrong with that!

I'm planning on getting pictures AND autographs in Disneyland when we go for our honeymoon in August - I'm 25.

You're only as old as you feel. There's nothing wrong with getting pictures and autographs with the characters no matter how old/young you are.

Okay this is our first trip so give me a DUH moment! Autographs ?? OF the characters? My 14 yr. old would love this. Now I am gonna have to scoot over to the craft boards and see if any scrappers make their own books.

My husband got autographs on our honeymoon, I think he thought I was nuts for getting him to do it, but he did. We also got lots of pics with the characters. I say go for it.

Your never too old. I'm 18 and i still get autographs. Although thats very rarely because i have everyone. But i still do it.

I'm 22 and I just got back from my honeymoon with my 26 year old husband. We both collected autographs! I get autographs every time I go, no matter if I have the autographs already or not, I make sure to fill my book with signatures and of course, I take pictures too.

Last week, I waited in line for Ariel to sign my postcard. She asked if it was for my grandchildren, and it was, and so she kissed it!

I'm 40 and I still get autographs. Love to have them to scrapbook with. I have done a couple of different things - I bought 4 x 6" cards that you would normally buy to inkjet with an invitation (from a party supply store). They had such cute borders: jungle animals, girly stuff that I used for the princesses and more. These last two years I bought a small sketchpad from Hobby Lobby for about $2.00 that has some really nice weight paper and big enough for the characters to sign (about 4x5") and I brought some Sharpie pens for the characters to use (this past trip with it being the Christmas holidays I brought red, green, dark pink and black). Nice and cheap way to jazz up a scrapbook.

A little tip- have the characters sign one side only in other words have everyone sign on the right side page- leaving the left blank- that way when you get all those pictures back you can just glue them on the page opposite the picture! Makes a great keepsake for little kids too!(not just the 14 year olds ;) )

My DD11 loved getting autographs. We also challenged her to get autographs from other tourists. She tried getting people from as many different states & countries as possible. I think she got over 1/2 the states, and a handful of other countries.

Maybe yours would like that too? It gets ya talking to other people in line.

Well, I'm, let's just say I won't be seeing 50 again, old and I still get some autographs!!! My dd, now 12, has a ton of them, in various books. Now, after about 9 trips to WDW, she bypasses some of the 'regular's and tries to find new characters each trip. She will always go to the character meals in order to get Mickey and his friends, and then Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends.
So...absolutely have your dd get some autographs and photos...they are so much fun to look back on.

Well my thirty-something wife got tons of autographs on our trip and she had a blast. She even brought her Pal Mickey to all the signings...the characters had a blast playing with, or hating (Donald is such a jealous duck) Pal Mickey.

Personally, I am don't care for the whole autograph thing..it's just not me. But I see nothing wrong with someone of any age doing it.
