Too early to book Air?

We just booked our stay at wdw and now we need air. I looked on websites and called airlines and I can get our tix for 1st week in Dec. for around 210.00. Does that sound good enough coming from Bflo, Ny and should I book now or is it too soon. I was told to wait for Southwest to see what their's is. Thanks.

I would wait for southwest. Once they open up your dates, all of the other airlines should come down with their prices, especially seeing that December is value season!

I know it is at least a two hour drive from Buffalo to Syracuse, but we got an awesome fair from transmeridian airlines iflytma.com . I have seen a few other posters from as far as Albany come to syracuse to take it. They fly direct, so no layovers. We will be trying it for the first time later this month.

Even if you decide to go with another airline, I would wait. I am sure they will be some sales in the next few months after other companies release their rates like Southwest and Jet Blue.

Definitely wait. I get Southwest updates every Tuesday with weekly specials, and the same from Independence Air. I'm rarin' to buy my October tickets, too and check fares daily!

what about SW fares during Thanksgiving week? When those are released do the other airlines still follow suit even though it's a holiday week?

We booked our airfare for 11/12-11/19 in the middle of Feb. with Spirit from Atlantic City to MCO - $210.00 per person. I'm pretty sure I could have waited and gotten it cheaper, but I'm one of those people who hate to wait things out. I need to know that I could get the dates/times I wanted.
