Always sunny in Philadelphia is on at 10pm and I HAVE to watch it,So hang on, I will be back in "two shakes of a lambs tail" ( I don't even know what the hell's that supposed to mean, why a lambs tail? What is so fast about the tail of a lamb. Maybe I'll be back in "two flutters of a hummingbirds wing". Now that would be more logical. Thats it, I'm starting a new catch phrase.) WHEW that was a little bit of a long winding side thought. Be right back.

Great Pics - Agee the Chicken Milanese at Tuttu's is AWESOME! We really enjoyed dining there in July looking forward to going again during F&W Festival next month.

It's the back of the menu, thats all I got.

DRINKS

Oreo shake on the left, virgin pina colada on the obvious side.
The very nice waitress allowed these as or drinks. Both drinks were very good. But really, how the hell could you mess up a shake or colada.

ROLLS & BUTTER

Didn't care much for these. They seemed very plain and doughy. I expect these would be served to you if you were in a jail cell. Nothing special here....move along, NEXT!

COBB SALAD

This was a cobb salad for one. We asked if they could do it and the waitress she had to find out, she said since they were not busy they would do it, but normally they don't. Why the hell would it matter if they are busy or not. They still have to throw a salad together, just put in a little less OH WISE CHEF OF THE SALAD WORLD. It's a bit odd of a comment but anyway the salad had the meats on the side for my wife. We both thought it was just OK, sure as hell nothing special and certainly not something the derby should be all high and mighty over. It's L E T T U C E, and some fixings, Jeez. I wouldn't boast about it like the do. Look at me I invented cheese on bread and then toast it, I am a food genius. If your expecting something so awesome just forget about it. I hope I helped someone out there.

POTATO CRUSTED CRAB CAKE

I GOT CRABS....... no, not that kind.Sicko. Where is your mind at? Yes I know another crab cake, BUT this one was crusted with potato slivers. Thats right the best vegetable in the world. MMMM very tasty, this was a close second to flying fish's crab cake. Very nice crispy texture on the outside and a great crab filling. I really liked this, and I would know I think almost all my appetizers were crab cakes. If you like crab cakes, you'll like this, or you won't, just covering my butt.

NOODLE BOWL WITH COCONUT FRIED TOFU

WIFE:The fried coconut was awesome. The noodles were just OK.
It was presented beautifully.
ME: I tasted the coconut tofu and thought it tasted pretty good. Now this is not a piece of delicious cow but not to bad. I certainly wouldn't give up
meat for this.

NY STRIP AND POTATOES

MMMMM more meat. I liked the steak but it was just OK, I have to note though I am not a fan of the NY strip cut, I always get filet if the choice is available. It was still tasty, when isn't grilled "Besty" though. The potatoes were good. But thats hard to screw up.

GRAPEFRUIT CAKE

WIFE: It was vile and I like grapefruits.

ME: Well, where to begin....The "Brown Derby Original" HA thats a funny one.
On what planet is grapefruit, a bitter fruit, thought to be turned into a CAKE!
On the planet "I'm a loony chef on PSP and crack" thats what planet. I really would not be so "proud" of this poor achievement they call "cake". I think a paper plate with frosting on it would be more of a tasty dessert. I know so many on these boards rave about this "thing" and thats why we tried it. Well I just decided to NEVER listen to ANYONE who says they love this monstrosity of a "cake". You are officially off my list. I really don't know what was worse the awful taste of the frosting or cake. It really doesn't matter nothing could save this hunk of garbage. I think a bum would pass on this one. Thats all I have to say about this.

BANANA WHITE CHOCOLATE TOFFEE TOWER

Now this is more like it. Nice and sweet, like a real dessert should be. Lots of different flavors and textures in here. my only comlaint would be that the consistency would have been a little firmer. I thought that it was a little to soft. It was good especially the coco almond cookie,YUM-FRIGGIN-E

I liked it here. I would never pay out of pocket for this place, and don't really think it's worth the 2 credits but I am glad I finally tried it after many, many years of walking by and never even looking inside. The waitress was very good by the way.

Another great review as always!

I always wanted to try BD, but find it hard to use 2 TS credits when there seems to be so many other places we like so much already. Maybe one day...or not. I just can't seem to get excited about this place, well actually, I don't get excited about any place at DHS.

I can't wait for your next 2 reviews!

As much as I love wordy food reviews, I must say that your concise descriptions are pretty awesome and you have made me laugh out loud more than once. We are booked at several of these locales so it's great to see them reviewed.

I thank you for the nice words. I also would like to thank everyones else's nice comments. I would like to thank the academy for making this award possible....wait as sec, wrong speech. I am glad to see people are enjoying the reviews, I really only tell it like it is. I am one not to ride the same boat as most others, as my reviews are very honest and harsh at times. The comments are the only reason I bother doing this as it takes a ton of time to do, plus I like to take pictures of food for some strange reason. I do it often when I am not at Disney at restaurant I eat at near me. Go figure. I am going to be finishing the last 2 reviews tomorrow so hopefully everyone could wait until then, if not too bad. You don't really have a choice anyway, do you.
