Tonight on the travel channel

PD,
Did you watch the show?

While watching the people wake up in their Dsiney rooms not make you long to be there?

Did seeing the fireworks not bring a smile or a tear to your eye?

Did seeing the man eat the Emu leg not make you hungry for Disney treats?

Did watching them do all of our favorite rides not make you want to go do TOT, RNR, Buzz, and Splash?

Oh, if you answered, "No, it didn't make me homesick at all", you have a very serious problem, my friend.

Gosh, those types of posts are scary.;) Thinking one can lose their interest in Disney. Geez...
Actually after the horror show if a trip I had down to the World this past May I almost started to lose my interest. Now that is a scary thought.

I was there in May also! Last week of May. I said if that had been my first trip, I'd probably never go back. (But I am sure I *meant* It'd be a l-o-n-g time before I'd go back!! :p )

That was the same time I was down there. I went with a group of friends, one that had never been before, she wasn't overly impressed at all. Oh well. It just seemed to be one problem after another, disgruntled CM, the computers shutting down at Epcot and thus diabling there turnstiles for close to an hour, the a/c not working on the monorail, I could go on and on.....

Just wanted to take the opportunity on another thread here to thank Joslyn and friends and Erika and family for a great, fun evening. You guys had me misty eyed a few times, reliving so many trips to WDW. Marie was even getting into it, and that is great!!!! Thanks guys.

Here's to Erika and Joslyn, our stars!:drinking1 You were great!

(Erika, I sent you a congratulatory PM.)

Fun show. I enjoyed watching you all.

Ugh! Sorry, that sounds worse than mine. I'm looking forward to trip pretty soon. I'm hoping for relaxation and Disney fun. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

I agree with Dan, very misty eyed when seeing some of the stuff and remembering the times I've spent at Disney with family and friends. I've got to go back this fall.

By the way, frndshpcptn was hot. Is she single? :teeth:

Though I didn't learn anything new, I found the show fun and made me just want to go BACK!

I truly hope that it *did* help someone out there decide to visit the World, and know a few tricks of the trade that will keep their visit happier.

I've had friends/family head down there and know nothing and be disappointed in the World and bash it back at home! It's their own fault for not researching their trip more, so hopefully potential first time visitors will see there IS alot to plan for and it pays off!

Congrats to both DIS members! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR FAMILIES! =)

Great job! Thanks for sharing your friends & family with your DIS family!

Just wondering if Erika and Joslyn told the other family and couple about the DIS & invited them to come join in on the fun here??

I loved the girl that said she had to have her caffeinated pixie dust!! (Mickey coffee!!)

Darn, I missed it. The family wanted to watch Extrme Makeover:Home Edition, and I completely forgot about Fans' Guide.

I got a kick out of the honeymooners who got up at 9:00 and then immediately got massages to "relax"

I loved the show- I'll have to tape it so I can watch it over and over and over!

All three of us watched it, in bed. Gotta rest up for the trip in 12 days!! Dh says to me.."Hey, I actually know this stuff. They're not telling me anything new!" Wow. But, we enjoyed it since it was a great Disney 'fix'. I mean...hey, we watch Great Hotels over and over if it's a WDW resort on. You guys got us really pumped for the trip. Yeah, like we needed any more pumping up!! However, one bad thing...dd, 10, was finally all set to do RnRC with me this trip. Pinky swear and everything. Well, she heard about that corkscrew and that was it. I think she stayed up, awake in bed for about 2 hrs. obsessing about it. Told me she was going to read her PassPorter some more to try and feel better. But that she didn't think she was going to ride it with me. Upside down and over was okay but not the corkscrew. Sheesh...what's the difference?? Great show you guys.

FYI-I'm a big chicken -I stopped riding The Tower of Terror & have gotten sick on a "backwards" roller Coaster at Fiesta Texas. But I LOVE the Rock in Roll Rollercoaster...the corkscrew is so fast and "tight" that you almost don't realize you're going around...hope she tries it.:D

I loved the new WDW special! After I watched it, I pulled out my WDW secrets and tips printouts and read them over before I went to bed. Two weeks from right now we'll be getting ready for our first breakfast at CRT!!

goofy4tink, I am not much of a roller coaster fan, but I love RnR Coaster. I think with everything being in the dark, it was easier for me to ride it because I couldn't see anything coming. I hope your DD will give it a try.

Great Job You guys! I got the chills watching wishes and I got Disney Sick(my version of home sick) all over again my boys were so excited watching all the images of their trip come up on screen.

OMG the show just got DH and I all giddy. We leave for WDW Friday and it was a great way to start off our week. The Ultimate Fan guide to WDW comes on again Thursday and we are all going to rally around the television to watch it and then act like kids again. Great Show!!!

Aw, darn--I missed it last night! I'll have to try to remember for Thursday. (Yet another reason I'm considering DVR!)

Thank goodness the Travel Chanel likes to repeat shows often!!

I was so excited to watch and threatened the kids if they made any noise! It had been trying to storm in our area all day yesterday and it waits until 9:00 to hit and by 9:20, the satelite was out!! AHH!!!!! We kept waiting and trying and guess when it came back on? 10:00!! I tried really hard to stay up and watch it at midnight, but just couldn't make it.

I enjoyed the part I got to see and I am looking forward to Thursday.
